Chapter 10

Grace's POV

I rushed to the door, tying my hair into a ponytail as I went, opening it to a beaming Louise.

"Hiya Love!" She smiled and stepped in when I offered.

"Hi, nice to see you again, Louise." I replied politely, shutting the front door.

"Oh please, call me Lou!" She offered, smiling and touching my arm.

"Okay," I laughed, "well, Lou," I said with a wink, "would you like a coffee?"

"That would be lovely, thank you." She replied, picking up her bags. "I'll go and set up all these, can I go up to your room again?"

"Yeah course, you remember where it is, don't you?" I replied, reaching up to the top cupboards to grab two mugs.

"First on the left." She said with a chuckle just as my mum walked into the kitchen.

"Oh, you must be Louise!" My mum said in her usual bubbly tone, walking over to Lou. "I'm Kirsty, Grace's mum." She offered a hug which Lou accepted.

"Nice to meet you, but please, call me Lou." She replied pulling out of the hug.

"Of course. Would you like me to help you set up?" My mother asked politely.

"That would be helpful, yes please. We're going upstairs, I think." She glanced over at me and I nodded at her with a smile.

They walked upstairs, talking to each other. I could hear them still when they were upstairs, laughing occasionally, which was good.

Harry and I decided not to meet after shopping, as the girls and I were only getting started when the boys had finished their interview. I did feel bad that I wasn't doing my job right but it was difficult, especially as Liam invited them all round to his - it would have looked sus if just Harry and I cancelled.

Samantha was a bit pissed. We would 'have to put on a good show tonight' she had shouted at me down the phone. I understood her anger but couldn't help but think it wasn't the end of the world. I was beginning to understand Harry's hatred towards the management team. They were extremely controlling, I had learnt that already and only been working with them for three days. I could only imagine what Harry and the boys have to put up with.

Once the coffees were made I grabbed a tray as I'd made a coffee for my mum too and carefully made my way upstairs. I opened the door to find the two women sitting on my bed chatting.

"Ah lovely!" They both instantly reacted to my appearance, grabbing a coffee each from the tray I was holding.

"Right then, shall we get started?" Lou asked, taking a sip from her coffee.

"Let's go, where do you want me?" I replied simply.

"Lovely coffee by the way." She complimented, pulling out my desk chair for me to sit on.

"It's my specialty." I joked, sitting down.

"Now, is there anything particular you want to wear tonight? So I can match your make up and hair." Lou asked, looking at me in my mirror.

"Yes there is actually." I glanced around, spotting the bag down by my mums feet, "chuck that over mum please? The Topshop one."

She did so and I pulled out my new purchases, chucking them down on the carpet so we could get an idea of what the full outfit would look like.

"Oh my god those boots are to die for!" Lou spoke and I noticed how similar the whole outfit was to her own style. She had amazing long legs that I was very jealous of.
