JUST BEFORE I START I need to say how sorry I am with the lack of updates, this year has probably been the busiest year of my life with moving and travelling and shit so I have been focused on other things. BUT I'll try to update as much as I can from now on..
Harry's POV
* * * * * * * * * *
"Gracie, your phones ringing!" I called out to Grace who was currently in the toilet.
"Who is it?" she yelled, making me roll my eyes. I shifted my body to the other side of her bed and grabbed her phone, reading the name 'Amy Feller' which was displayed across the screen.
"Amy Feller, it says here," I called out, getting silence as a response. "It says Amy Feller, Grace." I shouted again incase she didn't hear.
"Yes, OK I heard you the first time, calm down!" Grace all of a sudden rushed out of the toilet, still with wet hands. She grabbed her phone off of me and answered the call, trying a few times as the screen didn't pick up her wet fingers.
"Sorry, Jesus no need to shout I thought you didn't-" I was cut off with an angry glare and a 'shh'
"Hello?" She spoke into the phone, seeming extremely confused. I could hear the muffled talk of this 'Amy' talking on the other side of the phone, and judging by the look on Grace's face, what she was saying must be really annoying.
"Oh really? That's very last minute, let me ask Harry if we are free!" Grace said extremely sarcastically.
"Harry, my 'friend' " she told me with her fingers that she was not really a 'friend' of hers, "has invited us to her New Years Eve party, do you think we will be able to make it?" She started giggling silently at how fake she was being, her smile causing me to smile too. I gave her the thumbs up and she spoke to Amy again, stepping aside to talk to her in more detail about it, I must have been too distracting.
"OK sounds good, is there s dress code?" I herd Grace say and decided to then zone out, I didn't have it in me to listen to girls talking about clothes and shoes and bags.
I scrolled through my Instagram page while the girls talked and pressed on the camera option at the bottom, scrolling through my camera roll for something to upload. I came across a picture I'd taken a few days ago, of Grace and I with our bacon sandwiches we'd made for breakfast. Smiling at my phone I posted the picture with the caption 'baconstagram' which I thought was rather clever. Within seconds, thousands of notifications came through, some likes, some comments and some follows. I couldn't help reading some of the comments, the horrible ones towards Grace and I angering me. I saw a few 'I can't stand Grace' and 'Such a bad picture of Grace, Harry needs to realise she's ugly' kind of comments and just rolled my eyes, hoping that Grace wouldn't see them.
"Yeah sure, Harry," Grace's mention of my name brought me back to the world around me and I looked up to see Grace handing me her phone, "Amy wants to speak to you 'about the party arrangements' " she told me with an eye roll.
"Are you not able to?" I said to Grace in a hushed voice, putting the phone to my ear. Grace nodded in agreement, rolling her eyes once more, both of us knowing the real reason she wanted to speak to me. "Hello, love," I said, trying to be nice even though I didn't like the sound of this girl.
"Harry! So nice to speak to you babe!" I had to pull the phone away from my ear as her voice was so loud and squeaky. I put it on speaker so Grace could hear the conversation too.
"Yeah," I said simply and Grace snorted with laughter, putting her hand over her mouth to cover the noise.
"Yeaaah! So anyway, I just wanted to tell you that there'll be quite a lot of people coming to my New Year's Eve party, and I wondered if that will be bad for you, if so there's no need to worry because I can always uninvite some people." she baffled on and both Grace and I cringed at her neediness.
"Oh no I'm sure that I'll be OK, it's dark at night anyway so no one will be able to see me!!" I replied in the most sarcastic I could be without Amy realising. Grace caught on to what I was doing and shook her head, laughing.
"Oh great that's great, it will be great to see you! And Grace too of course!" Amy said, over egging it slightly.
"Yeah, it will be great to meet all of Grace's great school friends too!" I said, taking the piss out of her choice of words.
"Yeah, uh, that's the reason I decided to invite you too," she replied, slightly catching on to what I was doing.
"Do you want me to bring anything?" I asked and she jumped at the chance to show off about the money that she had.
"Oh no, Harry, that's so nice of you to think of that, but no, honestly it's absolutely fine, my Daddy has bought me £600 worth of alcohol so I think we will be fine, hopefully that will be enough to serve everyone!"
I couldn't help roll my eyes at her reply, Grace joining me but it seemed like Grace was used to this.
"No I mean, like, you know..giggle stick," I said and Grace burst out laughing.
Obviously hearing Grace's laugh, Amy chuckled nervously, not really catching on to my reference of weed. "Erm, some what sorry? I didn't quite catch that sorry," she spoke quietly.
"You know, some choke, some MJ!" I exclaimed excitedly, making Grace even more but I kept a straight face trying to make it as believable as I could. "Some doobie, grass, herb? You catching on yet?" I continued, with a smirk on my face.
"Oh, you mean, like , you mean weed?" she whispered and I couldn't help laughing along with Grace at this point.
"Yeah!" was all I could manage, fining it all too funny.
"Oh, um," she coughed, probably trying to cover her shock, "no, it's ok, I think others are bringing some, so, no thank you for offering though!" she finished, clearly lying.
"OK well I'll see you later on today then! Bye!" I said my goodbyes and before she could reply I hung up, Grace and I both erupting in laughter.
"Why did she actually believe you?!" Grace said, with a huge smile on her face.
"I'm quite the actor, aren't I," I replied with a raise of my eyebrow and she slapped me on the cheek. "Ouch!"
She ignored my cry of pain, "I'm the only actor here mister," she responded, pointing her finger at me. "Now come on, let's go out I need a dress for tonight!"
