Chapter 59- In Our Hour of Ratchedness

  On the other side of Jamie's vehicle, there is another vehicle that parks.  Dana 's heart beats a mile per minute as she slumps down low in her seat to remain unseen.

  Jamie walks through the front entrance as Lorenzo and Aiden step from the vehicle parked outside beside Jamie's.  Dana nonchalantly slips the engagement ring from her finger tucking it away as she eagerly wants to gain Lorenzo's attention but is afraid of being caught.  She noticed Edward standing behind the man placing his order at the front of the counter as Jamie stands a good distance behind the line reviewing the menu.

   She opens her door midway and goes "Pssst!" Lorenzo pauses, looks over, and recognizes Dana immediately, holding his arms out shouting "Yo yo Dee what's up!"  Dana crouches lower saying "Shhhhhh!" Lorenzo looks at her with a confused look as she points toward the inside of the building.  He looks through the glass and doesn't notice Jamie nor Edward and looks back at her with a puzzled look.

  She whispers "Oh nevermind, how have you been?"  He whispers back to her saying "Good, and you?"  She tells him "I'm fine but I really miss you Ren." Lorenzo covers Aidens ears and tells her "I miss you too. Call me later.  We need to hook up."  She smiles as she gives him two thumbs up while he holds the door open for Aiden upon their entry.

  Suddenly, another vehicle pulls into the spot next to where Lorenzo parked.  She recognizes the vehicle as she says to herself "You've got to be fucking kidding me."  Teresa steps from her vehicle engaged in a conversation on her cell phone.  Dana slouches further as Teresa passes by.  "Goddamn Church's is packed tonight." Teresa says as she can be heard saying this to the individual on the other end of the phone line.  Suddenly, Teresa spots Edward and immediately reaches in her handbag to retrieve her lipstick telling whomever she was talking to that she will call them back.  Dana watches Teresa on the prowl for Edward while impatiently sitting in the passenger side of Edwards car smacking her lips saying to herself "Look at this raggedy bitch...."

  Taking a look inside, she sees that Edward has made it to the front of the line and has placed their order.  She rubs her hands together as her mouth waters from watching the customer that ordered before Edward leave with a hands full of southern cooked deliciousness.

  "Oop!" She says as she realizes that she isn't wearing her ring and quickly slips her band back on before Edward returns and she forgets.  Edward grabs the bag and searches through the inside of it to ensure everything was there as Dana watches Teresa nonchalantly unbutton her top few buttons to display cleavage as an attempt to gain Edwards attention.  As he turns around with their order in hand, he looks up and notices Teresa standing in his path as his eyes shift directly toward her chest.  "Dafuq?" Dana says as she fumes from watching them converse momentarily.  Her hand begins to pull the latch of the door panel, before she pauses seeing Edward turn to speak to Jamie.

  She was unable to transcribe what they spoke of as Edward asks Jamie how her drunk friend was (being that of Nurse Williams body when he last saw her).  Jamie recognizes his face vaguely, and attempts to recollect their interaction after several seconds upon finally realizing what he spoke of.  She responds with "Oh, yeah....her.....yeah, she slept like a baby."

  Teresa interrupts by stepping in front of Jamie facing Edward asking him "Do you remember me?" He provides a fake smile and says "Yes ma'am.  I believe I just saw you moments ago." Jamie's eyes close tightly from Teresa's audacity as she does rhythmic breathing with herself to calm down, fighting the urge to reach in her purse and do 'what she does best'.

  Lorenzo's phone chimes from a incoming text message from Dana that says "Your boo is in the line ahead of you." He glances past the man in front of him and sees Jamie as he quickly positions himself behind the man once again ensuring he is out of her direct line of sight.  Holding his phone in his hand, he replies to Dana's text saying "Fuck you, lol."  She responds instantly by texting "When?"

Meanwhile, Teresa flips her hair while speaking to Edward not noticing that her hair was tossed into Jamie's face.  Jamie, looks to the sky and says "Lord forgive me." as she immediately grabs a handful of Teresa's hair jerking her head backward.  With her head tilted back, Teresa warns Jamie "Bitch, let go of my shit!"

Lorenzo sees what's about to take place and immediately grabs Aiden's hand heading toward the exit.  As they depart, Jamie catches a glimpse of Lorenzo and becomes distracted momentarily saying "Ren?" when Teresa takes advantage of this moment, draws back her fist and delivers an astounding blow to Jamie's face that forced Jamie's wig to partially slip away from her head.  Jamie sees a flash of light upon impact and becomes unconscious as her body crashes to the floor face first.

  Being that Jamie has such a crazy reputation, the site of this was unusual as everyone watched in shock from Jamie being knocked out for the first time ever.  "Oh shit!" Dana says from the car as she watches Edward expeditiously head toward the drivers side of his car with their order.  Edward puts the key in the ignition and starts the car saying "What the hell was all of that about?" With eyebrows raised, Dana watches in shock seeing Teresa parade around Jamie's unconscious body in the most ratchet of ways saying "Wake up hoe!" Edward puts the vehicle in reverse as Dana days "Hold on Eddie.  This is about to get good..."
