Chapter 19 - Going Half Crazy

In stealth mode, Dana successfully eases past Jamie and ceremoniously returns back to her apartment alive by doing the dance called the cat daddy:

  Dana feels pretty good as she sprints up the stairs towards her apartment after returning from her close encounter with Jamie at the Piggly Wiggly.  Her heart raced at an accelerated pace following a near death experience  in which she believed that her life actually flashed before her eyes.

She thinks to herself  "What better way to calm my nerves than with a tightly prepared blunt full of that greenery." As she pulls her keys out of her purse and fumbles through them in search of the one that fit her front entrance, she sees a silhouette of a figure as she looked to the ground before reaching her door.

  Looking up, she sees who it is and almost drops her bag as she felt that this was déjà vu with Lorenzo once again....The man turns around and glances at her as he was about to knock on the door...

  Her heart skips several beats as she says...

"Edward?"

  His blue eyes pierce into hers as he says "Hey baby.  You'd mite as well turn around and hop in that Maybach over there because you and I have to have a talk."

  She looks over at the expensive vehicle and takes a nervous gulp before responding with

"Okay."

While on the road:

  The entire ride, Dana's heart beats faster as she feels as if she is about to have a heart attack.  Through their silence, she replays over and over in her head of how she intends to tell Edward about her irresponsible behavior.

  He makes a quick stop at the gas station, as she uses this moment to get her mind right.  Pulling out a bag of powder, she makes a small pile atop the crease between her thumb and her pointer finger and snorts it completely in.

  She holds it in for as long as she can, so she doesn't sneeze and waste any of it before she puts the baggy away so he cannot see.  It didn't take long for it to take effect and she instantaneously became mesmerized by his piercing blue eyes (as many women would).

  Feeling enlightenment, she began to feel convinced that he may possibly be the man of her dreams....and not Lorenzo.

After Arriving at the Beach:

  Heading towards the beach front, he holds her by the hand as the temperature is very moderate.  So moderate, she feels that she will need to cool herself before she participates in irresponsible behavior with him before the night is over....

  While in the company of one another, he holds her against his bare chest that was undeniably proportioned for her to lay against:

  Subtle kisses to her neck and the comfort of being in his arms appeared to be the perfect combination.  As the tide rolls in and washes to their feet, the current drags the sand from their toes as it reacts by washing away from them moments after.

  Staring into his eyes, she aims to please as she glances around the beach while nonchalantly slipping her hands up the bottom his swim trunks.    He felt her hand traveling to portions of his body that revealed an undeniable appreciation for her as he became slightly nervous of being seen by others.

  His uncertainty turned her on as she reaches the portion of him that she was able to develop a grip on.   She notices that her grip was nowhere near that of Lorenzo's, but she convinced herself to believing "Fuck it, Im high."  With him in her clutches, she massages him in a manner that was forthcoming.

  The stroke wasn't as inept as the ones with Lorenzo, but she knew that the results would be well worth it.   He pushes her hand away as he looks her directly in her eyes and asks "So what are we doing?"  Not knowing how to respond, she tries her best to disregard her high and says "Well, there's some things I need to tell you that you will definitely disapprove of."  He pushed her off of his lap and awaits her explanation as she struggles to tell him what she intends to say.   He watches as she does her best to gather her words appropriately.

  "Well, first I will tell you that I wouldn't have accepted your proposal if I didn't feel anything for you." He looks as if to say "continue." She then, gathers her words and says "I pawned the ring that you gave me and got a lot of things I shouldn't have gotten.

  It was very wrong and irresponsible and I feel like a horrible person for doing it.  I didn't want you to know and had every intention of getting the ring back, once I earned the money to pay it all back." He covers his face in shock as he wasn't expecting this element of the conversation, but awaits further explanation.

  "I have a prescription for a diagnosis of that I've been assigned and can honestly say that I've partaken in medicinal studies that have gone far beyond our what was prescribed."  His face turned from a look of interest to that of concern as he responds with "So you're telling me you're a drug addict?"  She pauses for a second to prepare her answer as she responds by saying "Well, I don't consider it an addiction.  I consider it....." she pauses as she watches a man walk past them heading into the water.

  Trying not to make her stare too obvious, she looks away and attempts to finish her sentence but cannot stop looking.  The man heading into the water looked exactly like Lorenzo from his profile but his face was out of plain view.

  "Hello? Are you going to finish what you were saying?" Edward says as he becomes aggravated at Dana's apparent staring problem.  "Yeah, so what I was saying is....when are you gonna give me that dick?" Edward looks at her strangely and says "What?" Dana still watches the man head further and further into the water.

  Her train of thought is completely gone as she has the feeling that this man is well on his way to ending his life.  Almost certain this was Lorenzo, she sees him walk further and further into the water.

  She sits up totally oblivious to anything Edward is saying as sees fears the worst.  She knows that she hadn't heard from Lorenzo in a while and had a gut feeling it was him.

  The man had walked far enough as his whole body went underneath.  She could no longer see him as she jumps to her feet hollering "Lorenzo! Noooooooooo!"......
