Looking at the clock, Dana is exhausted as she sees that she has a little more than an hour remaining before her shift is over and she can finally clock out.  She knows that Edward will be arriving soon to pick her up, and is eager to pick up something to eat on the way home.  Abiding by her diet that was watched like a hawk by her soon to be husband, she suppressed her hunger for such a long period of time to where she began to feel her stomach gnawing on her backbone.  Growing agitated, she feels that time is moving at an entirely slow rate and hopes that Edward doesn’t give her a hard time about her intentions on breaking her diet for one night only and indulging in a variety of greasy products from Church’s Chicken as a personal treat to herself.   She already has what she plans to order a six piece spicy chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn on the cob, and jalapeño poppers with a sweet tea.  Her co-worker Teresa reminds her daily of why she has to stick to her diet without even a word as Dana watches Teresa’s thighs rub together every time she walks about.  Dana makes an attempt almost daily to have Teresa follow the same diet that she follows but continuously gets told “Girrl, I gotsta eat.  Salad ain’t gonna cut it for me hun.”  She normally gives Teresa a hard time about her lack of motivation to take better care of her health, but tonight, she was on the same exact page Teresa was on as she fantasizes about rubbing the chicken grease all over her body during her so called “Fat Moment”.

With ten minutes remaining, Dana sees Edward walk into the store with one of her jackets.  She smiles at his thoughtfulness due to her forgetting to grab it on her way into work.  He approaches the counter and says “I brought your jacket baby.  It’s starting to get a little cooler outside and I figured you will need this.”  Handing the jacket to Dana from over the counter, she grabs it and says “Thank you baby.  I’m almost done here, just hang tight and I’ll be ready to go shortly.” Teresa watches the exchange and comments by saying “Aww, that’s so sweet.  You got a good man…you better watch him.  I might have to snatch him up from you for a day.”  Dana looks over at Teresa saying jokingly “As long as I get to keep the rock, I’m good.”  as she holds out her left hand flashing her shiny engagement ring.

Dana finally clocks out and informs Edward that she needs to make a stop at the little girl’s room before they go.  He stands by patiently as she heads toward the restroom with the jacket draped over her left arm.  Edward browses the products that the store has to offer as he feels Teresa’s eyes watching him the entire time.  He cringes as he hopes for Dana to make her stop at the restroom and expeditious one.

Dana flushes the toilet as she ties the string along the front of her scrubs and heads to the sink to wash her hands.  While rinsing her hands off, out of the corner of her eye, she notices something sticking out of the pocket of her jacket as she retrieves is to notice that it was a bag of cocaine that she had forgotten about.  She realized that it has been months since she worn this jacket and was surprised that she even forgotten it was even there.  She debates on whether she should indulge in her favorite past time or just stay on track with the way things are going as of late.  She gained a lot of pride in herself for being clean for such an extensive period of time, but was beginning to become reluctant and have thoughts that this one particular night wouldn’t kill her.  She grabs her jacket and heads into one of the restroom stalls and comes to terms that she would use only a pinch to set her night off on the right foot and give her that extra boost.

Edward looks at his watch as he wonders what’s taking Dana so long.  He still feels Teresa’s eyes blaring at him as he slightly looks her way and notices her licking her lips at him.  He looks away quickly as he continues browsing the items in hopes that Dana will be done soon.  Suddenly, Dana walks out saying “Hey baby, you ready?”  He looks her way and notices the change in her appearance as she instantly transformed from looking fatigued to being completely alert within a matter of minutes.  “Feeling better now?” he asks as she smiles at him saying “I feel a million times better.”  Dana waves at her co-workers goodbye as her and Edward walk out of the store’s entrance.

While driving down the road, Edward and Dana converse as he tells her about a particular customer that came into the gun store today and purchased a 9mm P 226 X-FIVE Allround that he was looking to purchase for himself.  He went on and on about its features while all Dana could think of at the time was food.  In mid conversation, she interrupts him and says “Eddie, make a stop at Church’s Chicken before you get to the house.  I’m starving.”  as she looks out of the window fearing to look at him directly to see the reaction upon his face from her request.  “Dee, are you high?  That place is a heart attack waiting to happen.”  he says as he fusses.  Dana’s eyes become wider upon him asking her if she was high, then she realizes that he was being rhetorical and takes sort of a deep breath.  “Eddie this is just for today.  I promise I’ll stick to my diet from here on out.  Pleeeease???” she begs as Edward remains silent and reluctantly turns into the entrance to Church’s Chicken.  He notices that the drive thru was jam packed and pulls into a parking stall in preparation to walk inside and place the order.  “Do you know what you want to order?” he asks as she immediately tells him “Yes, a six piece spicy chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn on the cob, and jalapeño poppers with a sweet tea.”  He prepares to exit the vehicle as he lets her know to hang tight so that she can relax.  She smiles at his cooperation as she shouts to him “Thank you baby!” before he shuts the door behind himself.

Dana sits patiently and looks at her newly found bag of powder and wonders if Eddie knew that the bag was in the pocket all along.  She feels that he may have been testing her as she puts the bag away and pulls out her cell phone to play and intense game of Floppy Bird.  Suddenly, a vehicle pulls into the parking spot next to Edward’s.  She disregards the presence of this particular vehicle as she focuses on trying to get past level three.

The vehicle’s driver side door opens as Jamie could be seen sitting behind the steering wheel with the sun visor pulled down using the mirror to make sure her hair and makeup was feasible.  Dana doesn’t notice her presence and remains tuned in to the game in session.  Jamie flips the visor back up and steps from the vehicle closing the door behind.  She locks the door from her key fob as she throws her keys into her purse and pauses as she notices the extensive line of people inside the establishment as well as in the drive thru.

After dying in the game for the fiftieth time, Dana glances over to see an individual standing on the other side of her car door.  She was unable to view the face, but got an up and close view of her ass.  For some reason, the ass seemed familiar to her, but she didn’t really entertain the thought too much as she continued with her game.

Jamie walks toward the building with heels clicking as Dana looks up once again and recognizes who’s ass it was.  “Shit!” she says as she slumps down within the seat to remain unseen…
