사랑 참 어렵다 (Love is hard)

Chapter Twelve.

[ Dohee pov ]

Smiling brightly as I over hear Heesoo and Kai's conversation in the kitchen. She seems really happy. Well finally, maybe all her fantasies and dreams about Kai will turn into actual memories.

Feeling a body sit down next to me, I turn my head to the person. Only to see a smiling, dimpled face Namjoon.
He pokes me on the cheek, which causes me to shake my head and chuckle.

"I'm tired" I say as I lean my head down on his shoulder. I feel Namjoon's body shift and I look to where he is looking to see Kris leaving out to the balcony.

"Where's he going?" I hear Namjoon say. He looks down at me and I shrug. "I don't live here."

I hear him chuckle and I hear a few whispers coming from Sehun and Luhan. Eyeing them suspiciously, I bunch up my nose,

"Ya, what are you guys whispering about?!"

Sehun and Luhan jump slightly as they are caught off guard. "Oh, n-nothing." Luhan says chuckling.
Sehun just rolls his eyes and says "are you two dating? You seem a little close."

Once the words slip from his mouth, Namjoon and I simultaneously burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?" Says Kai as he sits down next to Tao.

Sehun shrugs and gestures his finger towards Namjoon and I "they are both crazy"

I just look up at Namjoon as I move away from his shoulder "Rap Monster is my brother from another mother" I say as I nod looking at the others.

"Yeah" he says nodding in agreement as he wraps his arm on my shoulder "my sister from another mister."

Looking at everyone, they still have confused looks on their faces. I just roll my eyes and smile "We're just really close friends"

"Like Heesoo and I" Chen says, reassuring the rest of his members. You can hear them all go "ahhhhh" when they finally understand which causes me to laugh again.

"So what are they cooking?" I say looking over at Kai. He smiles and shrugs his shoulders "she wouldnt tell me a thing" and he motions his finger in a zip like manner across his lips.

Of course she wouldnt. I look back at the balcony door then back at everyone else.

"You could go check how he is you know" chanyeol says ruffling my hair.

Bunching my nose up, I look at him "why me? I barely know the guy. One of you should"

"Nope nope nope." Says Baekhyun shaking his head "if anyone knows Kris, is that when he is out on the balcony, it's  a party for uno." He says holding up one of his fingers.

Arching my brow, I smile at Baekhyun "oh so you speak spanish?" He smiles at me and winks. I look back at the balcony door then decide to just stay put. I sigh and stiffle a yawn before leaning my head back on the couch.

"Wake me up when the food's ready" I softly mumble as I feel my heavy eyelids droop and close.

I drift off to sleep and for a moment,.......I swear I was being lifted and carried away. Shrugging off the thought, I feel my body drift deeper and deeper into sleep.

[ Kris pov ]

As I looked out at the night sky, I sigh, running my hands through my hair.

What is wrong with me? They could just be friends.

Yeah...... Really really close friends.

I think back to the image of her head on his shoulder. I wonder what it would feel like on mine. Shaking my head at the thought, I let out a chuckle.
