사랑 참 어렵다 (Love is hard)

Chapter Thirty Six.

[ Dohee pov ]

Nothing like a nice hot shower to get me relaxed.

*knock knock*

Hm? Who is it now? Walking towards the door, I open it to see Kris standing there with a plate of food.

"Oh, hello." I say as I continue to slowly open the door.

"You weren't coming down and I figured it was because of your leg, so I brought you your food....but..." he stops as he looks down at my foot.

"Yeah. It feels better now." I told him as I showed him my ankle.

"That's good." He says.

Awkward silence then followed and we stayed like that for awhile.

"Thanks for the food Kris." I finally say as I grab the plate.

"Dohee, I-" Kris begins to say

"Look Kris. Thanks for the food, but I dont really feel like talking now." I say bluntly before closing the door on him.

Looking down at the food I begin to feel a bit guilty, but I need some time to think a few things over alone and to cool my emotions.

[ Kris pov ]

What just happened?

Is she mad at me?

If anyone should be mad it should be me!

I've made it clear of how I feel about her, I've shown it! And she goes and acts all open and happy with other guys?! Smiling so happily like there was nothing but her and him....having fun...

I'm over it! Why can't she be just as happy and open with me as she is with everyone else? Even with strangers!!

Why won't she share that part of herself with me?

"She doesn't want to come down?" Baekhyun asks as I walk down the stairs.

"I dont care. Let her do what she wants" I say angrily as I walk out of the house.

Stuff this so called vacation.

[ Namjoon pov ]

What the heck?

I look around at everyone else and they have the same expression as me. I look up towards the stairs and know that somethjng must have happened.

I make my way up towards the room Dohee was sleeping in and knock on her door.

No answer.

"Dohee it's me." I said.

"Go away." She replies

"Dohee I'm coming in. We need to talk." I say as I grab hold of the door knob, twisting it as I begin to open the door.

Only to feel a force pushing the door shut. She must be at the door.

"Go away." She says again.

"What did you say to Kris?" I asked through the door. I decided to quit on trying to open her door. Seemed like a lost cause.

She opens the door quickly and looks at me "Why? Did he say something?"

"Yeah. I dont care." I said

"I dont care? Care about what?" Dohee asks me.

"About you." I reply.

Her face suddenly drops and she becomes at a loss for words.

"That doesn't mean anything. It wasn't like we were a thing." She finally says.

"Yeah but you knew how he feels about you and still you let that guy carry and hold you. You dont see the hardships you've put Kris through." I reply.
