Chapter Forty-five

Heesoo's POV

"I'm glad you're finally eating," Kai whispered in my ear.

"Well, I finally have an appetite," I shrugged. I looked over at Dohee again, smiling happily. I'm so glad she's back. I don't know what I would have done if she didn't come back. I would be so lost without her. I leaned back into Kai's chest, his arms instantly encircling me.

He kissed my cheek softly before murmuring in my ear, "I love you."

"Meeya more," I smiled. Everything was right again.

*A Few Days Later*

Heesoo's POV

"Ok class, it's time for you guys to start prepping for your final," The composition teacher spoke, causing us all to groan, "I know, I know, this is the last thing you want to hear before the holiday, but it'll be good to start thinking about it. This will be a big group project with the other classes. We will take one from each class and put them in a group. The classes are as follows, our class, the dance class, the photography and film class, and the modeling class. You will be producing a music video or dance choreography video. Your groups have already been assigned out and will be emailed to you shortly, along with further instructions That is all. Everyone is dismissed."

"This is going to be so fun," I cheered as I walked out of the class with Rap Monster, Suho, and D.O.

"It's too bad we won't be able to be in a group together," Suho frowned, "That would have been fun."

"Fingers crossed that I at least get Kai in my group," I cross my fingers.

"That would be nice," D.O. nodded.

"Heesooah," Rap Monster said suddenly, "Are you going home for chuseok?"

"Yeah," I nodded, "Why?"

"Just curious," Rap Monster shrugged, "Wondering I you were going to Kai's house."

"I wish," I muttered, "It would be better than dealing with my psycho parents."

"Hmm?" Suho looked at me, unsure of what I just said.

"Nothing," I flashed a smile, "Let's just go to your dorm. I need to say bye to Jongin oppa before I leave."

We made our way in silence to the dorm. As soon as I walked through the door I was scooped up into a pair of arms.

"Did you get the email?" Kai asked as I squealed in surprise.

"You, me, Dohee and Kris hyung are in a group together!"

"Really? Awesome!" I cheered as Kai set me down.

"I'm excited to hear the song you write for us," Kai nodded.

"I'll have to work on some ideas during the break," I pursed my lips thoughtfully.

"Ugh, I'm gonna miss you so much," Kai frowned.

"Babe," I laughed, "It's only three days."

"That's so long," Kai jokingly whined.

"Gross," I stuck my tongue out, "So clingy."

"Well you can go then," Kai pretended to be mad.

"No!" I dramatically fell into Kai's arms, "Don't do this to me! I love you!"

"You two are weird," Tao interjected.

"Fair," I nodded, standing back up.

"When do you have to go?" Kai looked at me.
