Kai's POV
I plopped down on the couch and kicked my feet up on the coffee table. Seconds later Heesoo was on the couch too, her head on my lap, her feet on Chen's.
"I'm so tired," Heesoo sighed, struggling to keep her eyes open.
"You and me both," I chuckled, beginning to run my fingers through Heesoo's long black hair, untangling it. I watched as her eyes fluttered to a close and she fell asleep.
"Works like a charm every time," Chen chuckled.
"Hm?" I hummed questioningly.
"Playing with Heesoo's hair puts her to sleep every time," Chen responded.
"Good to know," I nodded.
"I'm hungry," Sehun whined, coming into the living room, "Jonginie, wake up your girlfriend so she can make us food."
"No," I shook my head, "Let her sleep. Make your own food, or order something."
"But I want Heesoo's food," Sehun frowned.
"Sehunah," Suho reprimanded, "Go make your own food."
"Fiiinnneeee," Sehun sighed, stomping towards the kitchen. I chuckled and shook my head, continuing to play with Heesoo's hair. Don't get me wrong, I get where Sehun is coming from, Heesoo makes delicious food. However, the girl is exhausted and I'd rather let her sleep than make her make us food. Not that she'd be upset about it, she loves cooking for us. I closed my eyes and let out a long sigh, might as well take a nap myself.
Heesoo's POV
I woke up to the sounds of people laughing and lots of chatter. I stifled a yawn as I sat up and looked around, confused. The boys and Dohee were all gathered around the coffee table playing a game. I ran a hand through my hair and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, stifling another yawn.
"Good morning sleeping beauty," Luhan shot me a smile.
"How long was I asleep?" I asked. I glanced behind me and saw that Kai was still sleeping, his head in what looked like an uncomfortable position. I gently moved his head so it was in my lap before turning back to the boys.
"Only a few hours," Chen replied.
"A few hours?" I asked shocked, "What time is it?"
"8," Dohee responded.
"Oh..." I paused, "What about dinner? Did you guys eat? Why didn't you wake me up? I would have made something for you guys."
"Heesooah," D.O chuckled, "It's fine, we ate. Lay hyung can cook. He made us some food."
"Mian," I sighed, leaning back into the couch. I started to run my fingers through Kai's hair absentmindedly, lost in thought. I looked down at Kai's sleeping face, tracing his features softly with my fingers. He is such an amazing guy and I'm so lucky to have him in my life. I'm really falling for him, and hard. I didn't think that I would be able to feel this way again about someone...not after Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun. I really need to tell Kai about that...but how? I just...I don't ever want to relive any of that. It was such a dark time for me and I'm just barely getting over it. I-I can't talk about it right now. I was so distracted in my thoughts that I didn't notice that Kai's eyes had opened and he was smiling up at me.
"Oh hey," My tracing fingers came to a pause and Kai reached up to take my hand in his.
"Hey," Kai whispered softly.
"Sleep well?" I asked as Kai sat up and kissed me softly.
"Mostly, my neck hurts," Kai said as he rubbed his neck.
