사랑 참 어렵다 (Love is hard)

Chapter Thirty Eight.

[ Dohee pov ]

I smiled as I watched everyone ride along happily. When did things get so...comfortable?
I look down at the arms around me, holding onto the reins and chuckle to myself.

"What's so funny?" Kris says as he leans his head on my shoulder.

"Ya!" I say as I move my shoulder from under his chin "don't get so comfortable." I watch him as he rolls his eyes and lets go off the reins, wrapping his arms around my waist, cuddling himself towards me.

I gasp and tighten my grip around the reins "Ya do you want us to die?" I ask trying to shake him off me. I would have slapped his arms, but I was too frightened to let go off the reins, in fear of us both falling off the horse. Kris chuckles and buries his face in my neck.

"You moving like that will kill us." He says with a chuckle.

Huffing softly I lean my body forward to move his face away from my body.

That boy knows no boundaries!

"Please just restrain yourself while we are on this horse ride. I dont want to end up in the hospital and I dont want to see you in there either, so please..." I say slightly looking over my shoulder at him.

I dont hear him reply but his arms slide away from my waist and back to holding the reins with me. 

I sigh softly and relax my body a little as I lean back against him. As much as this horse ride was pleasant and exciting. I still thought of all the negative things that could happen. Blood and ugh horrible things.

Shaking my head, I take a breath in and out. Thank goodness for Kris's arms around my sides. If they weren't, Im sure I would have spent the whole ride convincing myself that I was slipping off the horse!

"Are you afraid?" Kris says, snapping me out of my thoughts?

I look up at him and shake my head "No. My head just likes to come up with all the bad accidents that can happen whenever I do anything." I say with a chuckle looking back at the front.

"Well then let's take your mind off those things then shall we?" He says smiling.

I nod as I grip the reins even tighter.

"Dont worry." Kris says softly causing me to look up at him "I won't let anything happen to you."

I continue to stare up at him and smile softly. My mum would of liked Kris so much. Chuckling at the thought, I smile and look straight.

"Thank you Kris." I turn back to look at him. "And I won't let anything happen to you."

Kris blinks, caught off guard before breaking into a sincere smile. "Thank you Dohee." He says softly.

We spend the rest of the horse ride in silence, enjoying the scenerey and the atmosphere. We reach back to the stables and hop off the horses.

My knees wobble and I feel myself about to buckle when Kris holds me straight. "You ok?" He says with a chuckle. I roll my eyes and nod moving away from him. "Thank you."

"Ok, I'm hungry!" I say looking at the others.

"You're always hungry" Sehun says as he drapes his arm over my shoulder.

"And you're always annoying" I say back at him with a smile.

"And you're always a pest." He says returning the smile.

"And you're always-"

"Ok you two" Kris says pulling us apart "behave." He says tapping my nose then doing the same to Sehun.

I poke out my tongue at Sehun and begin walking back towards the house.

Heesoo quickly follows after me and wraps her arm around my waist pulling me close to her as she whispers.

"Are you having a good time?" She asks.

I look at her and smile "I am. Are you?"

Heesoo giggles and her smiles widens from ear to ear.

"I take that as a yes." I say with a giggle in return.

"This has turned out to be the best and well needed vacation." Heesoo says as she cuddles my side.

Nodding my head I place my hand on her head and pat it softly as I look over my shoulder at all the wonderful people behind us.

"I agree."
