Chapter Thirty-one

Heesoo's POV

"I missed you so much jagiya," Kai whispered, his arm tight around my waist. He kissed the top of my head softly as we walked, Kris and Dohee trailing behind us.

"I missed you too oppa," I smiled up at him. Kai leaned down and kissed me softly, quickly. We continued in silence towards the dorm, happy to finally be back together.

"What time am I picking you up tomorrow?" Kai asked when we got to my dorm.

"Mmm mmm," I shook my head in disagreement, "I'm picking you up oppa. I'll be there at 8."

"Fine," Kai laughed, raising his hands in defeat. He leaned down and kissed me again, longer this time. However, I could tell that he was still holding back, probably due to the fact that Kris and Dohee weren't far behind us. Kai pulled away slightly placing one final kiss on my nose before walking away. I stepped into the dorm and waited for Dohee. A few minutes later she arrived, a light blush coloring her cheeks.

"Sit," I said instantly, pointing towards her bed, "And tell me everything."

"I...I don't even know what to say," Dohee laughed nervously.

"Um...let's discuss the fact that you guys were holding hands...what changed?" I asked.

"I dunno," Dohee shrugged, "I...I like him...I'm just scared."

"Scared of what?" I was concerned now.

"Of getting hurt," Dohee whispered.

"I see," I nodded, "Trust me, I get that all too well. "

"But you seemed to trust Kai so easily," Dohee pointed out.

"It wasn't quite as easy as I made it seem," I said honestly, "And I've been working on trusting people again for almost a year now. Trust me, it's been a process."

"I just don't know what to do," Dohee sighed, flopping back on her bed.

"Give him a chance," I said, walking over and lying next to Dohee, "I know it's scary...but Kris oppa would never hurt you."

"How do you know?" Dohee asked quietly.

"Because he looks at you the way Jongin oppa looks at me," I said simply, "And I know that Jongin oppa would never hurt me on purpose."

"I know," Dohee whispered. I gave her a tight hug before standing up and walking to the bathroom, "Let's do face masks yeah?"

"Sure," Dohee nodded happily, "We gotta give you the full spa treatment."

"Perfect," I smiled. We fell into silence as we placed the facemasks on our face.

"Question for you," Dohee said, finally breaking the peaceful quiet as she did my nails.

"Hmm?" I hummed.

"I know we call you and Kai lovebirds and all that," Dohee started, "But have you guys even said I love you yet?"

"No," I laughed slightly, "No we haven't."

"Do you love him?" Dohee asked softly.

"I'm definitely falling in love with him," I said after a long pause.

"That's great," Dohee smiled, "I'm really happy for you."
