Kai's POV
"Oh my gosh," Heesoo gasped, her eyes wide and her mouth forming the small 'o' that seemed to happen so often, "I have the perfect idea! For the party?"
"Hmm?" I hummed softly as I ran my fingers through her hair.
"We should totally have the party at my house on Jeju Island!" Heesoo smiled happily, "We can take my plane down there Friday and just hang out there for the whole weekend!"
"You have a house...on Jeju island," Tao started slowly, "And a plane to take you there? What do your parents do?"
"Yeah, it'll totally be so much fun and we won't have to pay for like anything cause the house is always stocked," Heesoo said, ignoring Tao's question.
"No seriously," Chanyeol looked at me, "What do your parents do?"
"Other than attempt to control my every move?" Heesoo snorted, "So what do you guys think? Are we all down for that?"
"I mean yeah it sounds fun, but are you gonna answer the question?" Baekhyun rose an eyebrow.
"No," Heesoo said simply.
"Why?" Chanyeol asked.
"Because I don't want to," Heesoo frowned.
"But why?" Tao whined slightly.
Heesoo's POV
"Oppa seriously," I snapped, "I don't wanna talk about it. Just leave me alone," I got up and stormed off to the kitchen, annoyed. What do they not get by 'I don't wanna talk about it?' I don't like talking about my parents. They're honestly terrible people and I want nothing to do with them.
Kai's POV
"Seriously guys?" I frowned, "What the heck?"
"What? It was just a question," Tao defended himself.
"Why did you have to keep pushing though," I rose an eyebrow, "She made it clear she didn't wanna talk about it."
"Do you even know?" Chanyeol asked.
"Heesoo doesn't talk about her parents," Chen interrupted, "She barely talks about them to me. Don't stress Jonginah."
I huffed out a sigh and walked into the kitchen. Heesoo had her back to me, standing by the sink. I heard a sniffle and I realized she was crying.
"Heesooah," I said quietly, standing nervously at the edge of the kitchen. I watched as she wiped her face before turning and forcing a smile.
"Sorry about that oppa," Heesoo whispered.
"Heesooah," I said again, my heart breaking. I crossed the kitchen in a few steps and pulled her into arms.
"I'm sorry," Heesoo repeated, "I just...I just can't talk about it."
"Gwaenchana," I pulled away and grabbed Heesoo's face softly, "You don't have to."
"Gosh," Heesoo sighed, pulling away from me, "I need to chill," Heesoo hopped onto the counter and flashed me a smile.
"Mwo?" I rose an eyebrow at Heesoo, kinda confused.
"I just feel like I've been..." Heesoo paused, searching for the right word, "Overdramatic...for the past little bit. I swear I'm not normally like this."
