One Week Later
Heesoo's POV
"Are you ready to perform tomorrow Joonbug?" I asked, hugging Rap Monster from behind as he sat in his studio chair.
"Absolutely," Rap Monster nodded, "How about you?"
"Honestly," I started, leaning on the desk so I was facing Rap Monster, "I'm a little nervous. It's been a long time since I've performed."
"You're gonna do great," Rap Monster patted my thigh, "Your song is amazing."
"Thanks oppa," I smiled, "Couldn't have done it without you."
"I could say the same about my song," Rap Monster shrugged, "Seems like we make a good team."
"I just hope everything works out tomorrow," I sighed, "I miss him."
"It'll all work out," Rap Monster smiled, standing up and pulling me into his embrace, "Now let's get you home. Gotta make sure you get enough sleep for tomorrow."
"Hey I'm not the only one who needs to get enough sleep," I laughed, pulling away from Rap Monster, "You need sleep too."
"Yeah, yeah," Rap Monster rolled his eyes and draped his arm around my shoulders, "Let's go."
We walked in silence back to my dorm, enjoying the cool night air. We quickly made it to the dorm and Rap Monster followed me inside to say goodnight to Dohee, before leaving to go back to his own dorm.
"How was making music?" Dohee asked.
"It was good, my song is done," I replied, "I'm excited to perform it tomorrow. Is your dance ready?"
"It is," Dohee nodded, "I'm excited to see you perform."
"And I, you," I smiled happily. I quickly changed into my pajamas and cuddled up under my blankets. Before I knew it, my eyes were closed and I was drifting off to sleep. I woke a few hours later to my alarm clock blaring. I shut it off and quickly jumped out of bed, excited for the day.
"WAKE UP!" I yelled, jumping onto Dohee's bed, "WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP!"
"Ugh," Dohee groaned, grabbing my legs and pulling me down next to her. As soon as I hit the bed she rolled over and pinned me down, "Now shut up so I can sleep."
"Girl please," I huffed, shoving Dohee off me, "This is the biggest day of my life to date. Excuse me for being excited."
"Ah right," Dohee sat up, "The big day. Are you nervous?"
"Insanely," I chuckled, standing up and walking over the closet, "What should I wear? I mean...it's gotta be perfect. I gotta be perfect."
"Honey Kai already thinks you're perfect, it doesn't matter what you wear," Dohee smiled softly.
"Still," I frowned, "I just want everything to be perfect tonight."
"Are you ready for the date tomorrow?" Dohee rose an eyebrow.
"Don't even get me started on that," I whined slightly, "Let's just get through today first and then I'll worry about tomorrow."
"Sounds good to me," Dohee laughed, "And wear something pink. I know Kai really likes that color on you."
"He told you that?" I questioned.
"Not in so many words," Dohee laughed, "I can just see it in his face whenever you wear pink."
"Ok, ok," I smiled, picking out a pink skirt and a black and white shirt, "I'm gonna go get ready."
I stepped into the bathroom and quickly took a shower and got ready. I came back out thirty minutes later completely ready for the day.
