Hello again! I just wanted to tell you guys to leave comments down below of anything Gilmore Girls related. I will probably write a question at the end of this chapter. Enjoy this chapter, keep on reading! ^_^
Rory and I walk out of the Headmaster's office with our folders in our hands. We have to take these to Ms. James' office, then we get to go to class. After we give our files, we get our locker number and combination, lyrics to the school song (which we can sing in Latin to get extra credit), a map of the school, our schedules, the rules to the school, and the Chilton honor code.
"So," Rory says in the hall. "I guess we'll meet up after school."
I nod. "Yeah."
She pauses. "Oka--"
"See you later." I grin and walk down the hall to find my locker.

After I find my locker and put my coat in, I walk to my English class. I'm a little early, which isn't completely shocking since I'm always trying to be early.
I pick a seat somewhere in the middle, near a window to my left. A woman walks in, wearing a casual yellow dress.
"Hello." she says as she sits at her desk. "I don't think I've seen you before."
I stand and slowly walk to her desk. "Yes. No, ma'am." I shake my head. "I'm Callie."
"Last name?" she asks, opening up a red folder.
"Oh! Gilmore." I tell her.
"I don't have a Callie Gilmore. I have a.." she stares at the attendance sheet. "Calliope Gilmore."
"Yes, that's me. I go by Callie though."
She smiles at me. "Alright, Callie, I will give you some of the work that you missed from the last two weeks. If you like."
I nod. "Yes, that would be great."
"Alright, I'll put it together for you." she says, putting on a pair of glasses. "You should get it by the end of the day. Maybe even by lunch."
"Thanks."
"Now, today we will be discussing literature. Authors, professors, writing structure, I'm sure you're familiar with all this." she explains.
"I am."
"Good. The rest of the class should be here soon. I hope you don't mind if I introduce you to them."
"Not at all." I reply, turning away.
"Perfect." she says as a bunch of student come into the room. I return to my seat, hoping I didn't steal anyone's spot.
A group of girls pile into seats around me, while one girl is left standing beside me.
"I'm sorry." I say, getting up. "Did I take your seat? I'll just find an empty one."
Much to my surprise, the girl smiles. "It's okay, I'll take this one." she says sitting down in a seat beside me. I sit back in my seat and glance at her.
"Are you sure?" I ask her. She nods. "Okay." I say quietly.
"I'm Breanna." she tells me.
"I'm Callie." I reply. "Well, actually Calliope but I go by Callie."
"Nice name." she smiles and pulls out a binder. I do the same as I wait for the teacher to talk.
"Okay, class." the teacher says, writing Charles Dickens on the chalkboard. "Last time we were discussing novels and authors. We will continue this class but before we do," she explains, staring at me. "We have a new student."
