Heya guys! Again, trying my best to stay on my schedule. Not doing so good in school. :( This song is a little more uplifting, enjoy! Sorry if I already used this song in a chapter, I'll try my best to use different songs. (It's called 'If I Could Write.')

Me and Lopez walk in the halls, to our second class, which we happen to have together. Asher wasn't in my math class earlier, I don't know why. But I can't think about him right now.

"So," he starts. "About your book.."

"Oh!" I scoff, waving a hand. "It's alright. That book is long gone. I can always get another one."

He glances at me, then looks away smirking. "I was going to suggest visiting the bookstore. Y'know, for a new book. Maybe a couple more." he shrugs.

My eyes widen. "Really? You'd..want to?"

He turns his head back at me. "'Course. Don't you?"

I nod. "Yeah. Definitely." I try to say nonchalantly.

He grins at my attempt. "Lunch work for you?"

"Sure." I reply, thinking about my friends. I wonder where they are. They've never missed school on purpose. Especially both of them, and so out of the blue. "My friends aren't here anyways, so I'd end up sitting alone."

  He raises an eyebrow. "Really?"

I shrug and look off my shoulder. "Yeah."

"So, you're not much of popular girl huh?"

"Not really into the whole clique thing." I smile.

He smiles back, nodding slowly. As if he totally gets what I'm saying. We walk the rest of the way in silence. I keep thinking of things to say, topics to bring up, but then I glance at him and forget everything I had just thought of. Perfect.

"Welp." he says, when we reach the middle of the halls. "My music class is this way." he steps to the right side of the hall.

"I, um, have drama class." I tell him in a low voice.

He seems a little surprised. "Drama? Really?"

I blush but nod at him. "Wow. Never would've thought you'd be into drama."

I roll my eyes slightly. "I'll see you later." I say, walking to the left side.

  "Lunch!" he calls. "Don't forget!"

I turn around and stare at him. "Never."

He smiles at me before disappearing into his classroom. I smile to myself, still blushing. Then I quickly turn ans enter my class, hoping he didn't catch the last part.

"Why are we here?" Lopez groans.

I roll my eyes at him. "You're the one who wanted to go look for books. We're here because of you." I step inside the bookstore, holding the door for him.

"Yeah, but I didn't think you'd take me so far off of school property." he says wagging a finger at me. "Bad girl."

I give him a sly smile. "I'm not a bad girl. I just..this was the only bookstore I could think of."

"You weren't supposed to be thinking of bookstores. I was the one taking you."

"Since when?" I glare at him.

  "Since always."

"Oh, was this some sort of unspoken rule or something?" I shake my head.

"Yes, it was. And you were supposed to abide by that rule." he glares back at me, but I can tell  he's actually smiling inside.
