It had been two months since you and Anthony had been together, however your parents moved to Australia meaning when you wanted to see them you had too book flights and then get on two separate airplanes. Right now you were on the second airplane and you had about ten minutes before you arrived in Melbourne.
"Babe you're shaking." You told Anthony as you noticed his leg bouncing up and down as well as his clammy hands.
"What no I'm not, I'm fine." He said back defensively. You knew he was just as nervous as you were when you met his parents. You grabbed his hands and looked him in the eye as the airplane started descending.
"Listen babe, I know you're nervous, I really do, but trust me, my parents are the most laid back and chill people you will ever meet. It's just like our Face Time calls but in real life. Plus, between me and you, they told me that they think you're a pretty good guy and that they're happy to see me smiling because of you." You reassured him. Anthony breathed a sigh of relief, his nerves slightly easing.
"Thankyou Y/N." He smiled, taking off his seat-belt. The plane had landed and now you two were going to grab your luggage and then find your parents. Anthony gave you another look as you were trying to spot your parents through the crowded airport.
"They will love you, I promise." You told him giving him a kiss on the lips as he interlocked yours and his hands. You guys immediately stopped when you heard a camera go off, laughing when you realized it was your mother.
"Hello my darlings!" Your mother shouted, dropping her bag and throwing her arms around both you and Anthony.
"You are so handsome and I'm glad my daughter has you!" She squealed at Anthony, giving him a big kiss on the cheek. All your dad could do was laugh.
"Hi dad." You smiled giving him a hug. He hugged back then walked over to Anthony, who gulped making you roll your eyes.
"Welcome to the family son." Your dad smiled, not shaking his hand but also giving him a hug. Afterwards your parents grabbed your suitcases and headed to the car, you two following closely behind.
"I told you they'd like you."
