Being a girl absolutely sucked, period or not. Today was your unlucky day and you had gotten your period. You were meant to be going on a date with Alex later and now you had to cancel because you honestly felt so sick and your cramps were painful.

You had just received a text from Alex, it was now or never.

I'm so sorry babe, I have to cancel. The monthly visitor has arrived and I feel really poorly. Hang with the guys, I love you and be safe.

You put your phone down and started to binge watch one of your favorite shows The Vampire Diaries. Your eyes grew heavy within two episodes so you closed your eyes. Later on, your front door unlocked and you knew it was Alex because he was the only one with a spare key.

"Babe?" He called out, walking up the stairs. You let out a groan to let him know you were there and he gently opened your door.

"How are you feeling?" He asked putting his shoes on your shoe rack and walking over to the bed with a bag in hand.

"I feel like I've been punched in my stomach about thirty thousand times, but I thought I told you to hang with the guys." You told him, reaching up and giving him a kiss.

"I assume you fell asleep, which is why you didn't answer my text which said I was coming over to look after you. But I stopped off in the store and grabbed you some things, like chocolates and candy and just a tonne of junk food we can eat." He smiled, emptying the contents onto your bed. Your eyes lit up at the yummy treats as you quickly grabbed the packet of skittles.

"What would I do without you?" You asked cuddling into his side.

"I have no idea." He laughed giving you a kiss on the forehead.
