The excitement of Christmas fulfilled your household. Even-though it was just you and Kade, the house was decorated from head to toe. You had even put some decorations in the bathroom.
"I've set up Elf." Kade smiled to himself as he walked through to the kitchen where you were making hot chocolate.
"I cannot believe it is our third Christmas together and our second in this house." You grinned wrapping yours arms around his neck as his were placed on your waist.
"Time moves quickly when you're having fun." He kissed your cheek.
"I'm excited for tomorrow, even if it is just us two." You laughed putting whipped cream and marshmallows on top of the beverage.
"Well Y/N, we could always go for a walk, maybe stop at your sisters place if you want?" Kade suggested.
"That would be nice, but I want most of the day too just be me and you, opening presents, watching Christmas movies and eating this amazing food that I cooked just for us." You laughed pointing at all the food you had cooked and wrapped up.
"Sounds pretty decent to me." He grabbed his cup and headed back to the couch, which was also covered in Christmas pillows and a Christmas blanket. You took a sip of your drink and then placed it onto the coffee table. Kade pressed play and you rested your head onto his shoulder, with his arm wrapped around you. The fire was burning and the trees lights were shining.
"You know, Christmas eve is a hell of a lot better when I'm with you." He admitted. The butterflies erupted in your stomach, just like they did every other time he complimented you.
"I love you Kade." You gave him a kiss.
"I love you too Y/N."
