Tristan Tales - You Get Scared

When you were younger you adored looking out of the window when it was storming. The rays of lightening in the distance always fascinated you and to be honest it still did. Everything was okay, other then the fact there was a power outage and it was dark.

"Okay, this is not cool." You whispered to yourself closing the curtains and putting the flashlight on your phone on. This helped you light a few candles and your once dim lit room had slightly glowed up. You didn't think you were going to make it through the night without crying so you called your boyfriend.

"Babe, if you had called me sooner I would already be there by now. I'm going to sprint so I avoid getting struck my lightning." He joked.

"Tristan, not the time to joke love." You sighed.

"I'm on my way, I love you." He told you and you could hear his front door shut.

"Be safe, I love you too." You said and ended the call. You were happy that he literally lived a block away so he'd be pretty quick and get to your house safely. Once again, you put your flashlight on and headed downstairs, waiting at the door. After a few seconds, the door knocked and you rushed to open it, revealing a soaking Tristan.

"I'm sorry I made you go through that." You apologized feeling guilty at how bad the weather was. 

"Don't apologize, if you're scared, I'm not going to leave you worrying on your own, now can I please have some spare clothes?" He asked as a puddle of water laid underneath him. You nodded as he followed you carefully upstairs in the dark. You grabbed the spare clothes he always left from the draw and he gladly put them on. The pair of you then went onto your bed and pulled the covers up to your chins.

"You can go to sleep, I'll be right here when you wake up." He reassured you, you loved how caring he was towards you and you sure as hell wouldn't change it for the world.
