"We swore we'd never do this to each other. We both know how it feels to be cheated on, and we swore we'd never put each other through that again!" You yelled, the tears had already fallen.
"Y/N I wasn't thinking! I don't know why I did it. I'm sorry." He cried slowly walking over to hug me. Jake held on tightly but I didn't hug back.
"I love you so much, I never wanted this to happen." He said and wiped my tears. He backed up and wiped his own tears away.
"I'm so sorry." Jake whispered. I looked over at the clock next to his bed and saw it was 1am.
"I want to go to sleep, I'm going to go and crash with Tessa." Your voice cracked.
"Y/N no." He said. I looked back at him.
"What now Jake?" You sighed.
"Come sleep with me." He said ushering to our unmade bed next to him.
"You see, I would, but it looks like someone else has already done that for me." It killed you to even say that sentence but what Jake had done broke your heart. You shut the door, despite the sobs coming from Jake, you went to Tessa's room. She knew what had happened so she didn't say anything but hug you. Eventually she had fallen asleep but you just sat on the edge of the bed. You never wanted to leave him, you'd never felt so loved by someone. I couldn't sleep, I had to be with him. His cries grew louder as I approached his door. I put his code on the lock and walked in. It broke me seeing him crying.
"Y/N, baby, I never meant to hurt you." He cried once he saw me.
"It's just, you were always hanging with everyone else and we never s-spent as much time together as w-we used to. Y-you'd come to bed when I was asleep and y-you were gone before I woke up. A-and when we s-saw each other, we w-wouldn't talk." He sobbed. You got on the bed and held him close to you. Immediately Jake's head went into the crook of your neck which soon got drowned in tears.
"Babe, if you keep crying, you'll make yourself sick." You whispered.
"P-please don't leave me." He stuttered gripping on to me as tight as he could.
"Calm down." You told him and kissed his blonde hair.
"Don't cry, we're okay." You whispered quietly rubbing his back.
"We are?" He asked softly.
"Yeah, I think so."
