Kade Speiser - Surprises

Kade was always flying from Los Angeles back to Michigan and vice versa a lot. You couldn't quite afford to move out to Los Angeles just yet and you blamed yourself that he had to pay for flight tickets so much, but he didn't care. Today was your birthday and he told you that there were no flights to Michigan until next week and to say you were upset was an understatement.

"Y/N, sweetheart, we have some presents downstairs for you." You mom said sweetly as you brushed your teeth.

"I really am great-full for that mom, but nothing compares to not having him here." You grumbled with a frown on your face. She walked over and hugged you.

"I know it breaks your heart when he's not here and that you can only talk to him through FaceTime and such, but just remember that he loves you so much and I'm sure he'd do anything to be here right now." She gave you a smile which you glumly returned.

"I guess I could come down for a bit." You sighed chucking your hair up into a messy bun and by that you actually looked like you had a birds nest on top of your head but you weren't bothered. Following behind your mom, you noticed your brothers and sister along with you dad by a some presents followed by a really big, odd looking box, but you thought nothing of it.

"You have to open mine first bubby." Your little sister said excitedly. You opened the gift she made you and it made your heart melt. She had drawn a picture of you, Kade and her at the park just like a few months ago and it was put in a frame.

"This is by far, my favorite present, thank-you baby." You hugged her.

"You have to open this one next." Your brothers insisted on the huge box, you were unsure about it but walked over to it anyway.

"Okay, thank-you guys." You laughed. What you didn't expect was for the box to suddenly open and for Kade to pop out of it.

"NO WAY!" You screamed leaping into his arms, not wanting to let him go.

"Happy birthday babe, I couldn't miss it now could I?" He grinned, you were over the moon, despite the fact you had acted half depressed before, you ended up having the best birthday you could wish for.
