Chapter Seven: Coffee Date
---

"Favorite band?" He asked as they walked down the sidewalk together.

"Depends, really," Her fingers maneuvered up and down on her wrist in a rhythmical pattern, her hand nervously wrapped around it. "You?"

Natsu shrugged. "Same as you. I honestly have no preference." He noticed her constant fidgeting and stopped walking.

Lucy stopped next to him and looked at him in confusion. "What's wrong?"

"Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah? Why wouldn't I be?" She rocked back and forth on her heels uncomfortably, not able to look him in the eyes.

Her actions caused Natsu to chuckle. "I don't bite, you know."

The blonde snapped her head up at him. "I'm not scared of you. It's just...this is technically my first date, and I...have no idea what I'm doing."

"Really?"

"Yep."

"Huh..." He looked deep in though for a second before grinning. "Alright well, we should keep going. It's nearby."

"Lead the way," Lucy smiled.

The two laughed and talked the rest of the way there until Natsu stopped them in front a small cafe with the words 'Fairy Cafe' made out of red L.E.D. lights, the same signature symbol right next to it.

Natsu guided the blonde inside, only to be greeted by a girl with long flowing ivory hair, her bangs tied upwards. Her eyes were a dark sapphire blue, and she looked somewhat like Lisanna.

"Hey Nats--OHMYGOD YOU BROUGHT A GIRL," She squealed.

The boy sighed. "Hey Mira. Lucy this is Mirajane, Mira this is Lucy."

The blonde waved shyly at her. "Hello."

Mira smiled sweetly. "Hello! So you're Natsu's girlfriend?"

The two blinked in shock before shaking their heads in unison. "We're just friends."

The girl pouted in disappointment before sighing. "Bummer. Usual table is open, Natsu. Just coffee, right?"

"Can we actually get the menu this time?" He asked as he guided Lucy over to a quaint booth in the corner.

"Gotcha. Elfman?! We need two menus at Table 7!" MiraJane called out behind her.

A large and buff man suddenly came out from the metal double doors, his hair as white as hers and Lisanna's. He walked over to their table and placed down two small pamphlets in front of them.

He smiled at Lucy before heading back behind the double doors.

"Is it just me, or do Mira and Lisanna kind of look alike?" Lucy asked.

"They're siblings, along with Elfman. Mira's the oldest, then Elfman, then Lisanna. They're the Strauss siblings. Very well known around town," Natsu shrugged.
