Chapter Thirty-Four: Band
She Looks So Perfect - Lyric Video

---"Do you really think we're ready? I mean we're going on last for group auditions, but still," Levy muttered. "Sure we've been practicing but what if we end up messing up? We could make huge fools out of ourselves. One of us could slip and fall of stage, or break one of our instruments or something."
Lisanna sighed and glanced at the blunette before turning to the other girls. "She's doing it again."
Erza patted the girl's back in reassurance. "Do not fret, Levy. We're all very talented when it comes to music. That's why we're here. We're the some of best of the best, and auditioning as a band is going to prove that."
Levy pursed her lips before smiling hesitantly. She let out a relaxed sigh before saying, "You're right. Thanks, Erza."
The scarlet haired girl nodded. "How about we get some final practices in? We should every second we have left before our audition."
The girls nodded and stood from their table in the courtyard. Wendy had decided to tag along with them since she wanted to hear them play.
The snow had begun melting as January was nearing its end. Group auditions were always the last to be scheduled, and with there only being two spots for bands to perform at the dance, it would be pretty difficult for the girls' band to get a spot.
Juvia tugged on Lucy's long sleeve, grabbing her attention. They stayed behind, much to Lucy's confusion.
The blue haired girl had a smile on her face. "Gray came up to me the other day and told me why he and that other girl were in the music room together."
Lucy gasped happily. "So he cleared things up with you?"
Juvia nodded and giggled, reaching for the necklace tucked behind her shirt. She pulled it out, her thumb and index finger clutching the teru teru bozu doll pendant as she tilted it side by side to show it off to no one in particular. "He doesn't show it a lot, but he is really caring," She said in a sweet voice.
The blonde clapped cheerfully. "I'm so happy for you two! It's so cute how you two have matching pedants."
The blunette grinned. "Gray is the greatest boyfriend ever."
Not wanting to put up a debate with Juvia about who in opinion was the best boyfriend, Lucy shrugged it off and laughed. "We should catch up with the others before they think we're lost."
Juvia nodded and followed Lucy as they walked inside the building and down the hallway, peering into the music rooms until they found the one the other girls were in.
"There you guys are," Lisanna waved them over to where she was setting up her electric guitar. Juvia split off to go get her bass, which she'd tucked away with the other instruments in the large storage room, which had doors connected to every other music room.
It didn't take long until Juvia had her bass set up a few feet away from Lisanna. Levy had her keyboard propped next to Erza, who had just finished putting her drum set into place.
Lucy volunteered to help out with getting everyone ready, seeing that she only had to test her microphone a couple of times. She walked back to the mic stand and looked at the others. "Ready?"
---
"Everything ready?" Jellal asked the group. He finished tuning his red bass guitar and glanced at Gray and Natsu. They both had just finished tuning their electric guitars, while Gajeel had been ready for awhile with his drums.
