"Everyone knows how the next two months work, right?" Mirajane had said into the mic. Students from all grades had gathered in the biggest auditorium at the school. "Starting today will be auditions. Auditions will alternate every other day to morning or afternoon, so you'll still be able to have all your classes. Today, auditions are during the afternoon, and tomorrow it will be in the morning. The roster for who is to go first and so on will be announced at the beginning of Lunch. Dismissed!"

Murmurs of excitement spread throughout the auditorium as students began to exit from the doors at the back.

"You excited?" Lisanna asked as she nudged Lucy.

The blonde shook her head. "How many people are going to be watching our auditions?"

"Everyone auditioning, I think," The ivory haired girl said. She waved goodbye to Lucy before joining Levy and Juvia.

Although it seemed kind of rude that Lisanna had ditched her, she was at the same time relieved. She didn't want anyone she was close with watch her vomit from nervousness.

She jumped, feeling someone blow into her ear for the umpteenth time. "Really, Natsu?" Lucy turned her head to glare at the pink haired boy as he casually fell into step with the blonde as they walked out of the auditorium.

She opened her mouth to say something else, but quickly shut it, covering her mouth as her eyes widened. Natsu watched her in confusion. "Luce? You--"

Before he could finish his sentence, the blonde bolted down the hall and opened the door to the nearest bathroom, unaware it had been the boy's. She shoved open a vacant stall door and kneeled next to the toilet, hovering her face over the bowl.

Natsu quickly followed after her. As soon as he went into the bathroom, he could hear retching noises coming from the last stall. He slowly approached the last stall door, only to see it wide open with the blonde on the floor, vomiting into the toilet. He flinched internally before walking closer to her and holding her hair up, gently stroking her back. "Audition nerves?"

She kept her head down before nodding slightly. Lucy quickly reached for the toilet paper and wiped her mouth.

"You're that nervous?" Natsu chuckled. He let go of her hair as she turned to look at him.

"Easy for you to say. You've done this before, and you're an amazing singer and musician," Her eyes narrowed as she spoke. She hurriedly turned away, putting her hand a little away from her mouth before breathing out of her mouth and in with her nose. She flinched, realizing her breath didn't smell nice in any way. Lucy quickly flushed the toilet, not wanting to watch the contents go down.

Natsu stopped and looked at her as she stood. "Well..." He shrugged, unable to think of anything.

Lucy sighed. "Whatever. Thanks for...holding my hair up. I need to ask if Levy has a mint or something."

The pink haired boy suddenly grabbed her wrist, causing the blonde to turn around and look at him. "Hey, you'll do fine."

Lucy flashed him a small smile as he let go of her wrist, walking out of the boy's bathroom as casually as she could without getting strange looks from students passing by.
