"But I mean, it doesn't really make a difference whether or not someone plays the right tempo for a song or something, right?" Sting raised his eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Then the accented beat would be on the wrong word, and it wouldn't sound correct. Tempo is just as important as any other component in music," Lucy pointed out.

"Well what if you added your own edge to a classical piece? What if you changed things up a bit? Stuff like that wouldn't hurt, right?" Gray subtly butted in.

Natsu scoffed, continuing to strum his guitar. "Stuff like that can only be pulled off by people actually good at music."

Lucy snorted as her eyes averted to the ground. She bit her lip, stifling her laugh with the best of her ability. The two made eye contact for a moment. He let a small smile slip out.

She stopped biting her lip and stared at him for a moment, until she slowly formed a smile of her own before breaking eye contact and turning back to the others. They were gathered in the courtyard, forming a large circle and relaxing, enjoying the warm sun that March brought.

"Are you stupid?" Lisanna frowned at Gray. "It was obviously the boyfriend's fault as to why they broke up! If they love you, they don't cheat on you. It's as simple as that."

"Well, the girl isn't exactly all that free of blame either. She forgives people too easily, and is too naive," Gray shook his head.

Lisanna looked at him in irritation. "And that makes their break up partly her fault too?"

The raven-haired boy scoffed as he scrunched up his face. "Well break ups aren't one-sided, are they?"

"But her being herself is the shittiest reason I've ever heard of being a cause of them breaking up. They made such a cute couple too," Lisanna pouted, folding her arms over her chest.

Natsu rolled his eyes as he said, "The movie was like an hour and thirty minutes. The couple lasted like five minutes into the movie."

Lisanna's jaw dropped as her eyebrows knitted together, a gasp of disbelief and insult escaped her mouth. "You were asleep for the whole movie! You don't know crap, Natsu."

"But in the end they got back together. They got their happily ever after, isn't that what counts? Wouldn't you want a happily ever after? They grew together and their bond is stronger." Lucy said before anyone else could say anything. "Also, when did we switch topics from music theory to the movie we watched yesterday?"

"When you and Pyro were busy eye-boggling each other," Gray mumbled.

Natsu elbowed him violently in his side, causing the raven haired boy to grunt loudly.

She tucked a lock of golden blonde hair behind her ear anxiously, feeling everyone's eyes on her.

"She does have a point," Levy said, quickly changing the subject. "I mean, who knows what'll happen to them in the next movie-if there is even going to be one? They're happy now and have learned from their mistakes."
