As he was walking down the hall, coming from Instrumentals, Natsu had noticed a particular blonde beauty not around. She hadn't been in any of the classes so far either.

When he rounded the corner, his eyes instantly landed on her, hugging a guy with platinum blonde hair and blue eyes.

Natsu's eyes narrowed as he took a step back, trying not to be seen by the two. He turned his head and found Gray a couple of feet away, talking to another student. The pink haired boy grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled the raven haired boy over by the wall of the hallway.

Gray grunted in surprise. "What the hell, Natsu?"

The pink haired boy leaned against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest, before gesturing his head towards Lucy's direction. In confusion, Gray looked to where he had pointed.

"Who is he?" Natsu mumbled.

"Oh. Sting Eucliffe, new transfer student. Apparently he and Lucy were close friends back at her old school, so when she heard he was coming here, she offered to show him around," The raven haired boy said.

Natsu kept his gaze on them. "How close, exactly?"

Gray shrugged. "Why don't you ask her?"

The pink haired boy said nothing, his eyes still trained on the two. Lucy suddenly turned around, as if feeling his gaze. She smiled and waved, causing something inside of Natsu to stir.

He paused, watching as she said something to the platinum haired boy, a smile plastered on her face. Natsu frowned.

Gray suddenly chuckled, snapping Natsu out of his thoughts. "Why do you care so much, anyway?"

Again, the pink haired boy said nothing. He looked away from the two and looked down, his hair covering his eyes.

"Are you jealous, or something?" The raven haired boy snorted. Natsu swiftly punched Gray in the chest, slightly annoyed.

"No, I'm not jealous. I'm just...concerned. Sting seems like a shady person," The pink haired boy muttered. "Plus, if Lucy was showing him around, she would've said something to me first."

Gray stared at Natsu in amusement. "You sound like a jealous boyfriend."

"I do not!" The pink haired boy yelled, punching Gray in the shoulder. Natsu returned to his position leaning against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest as he kept his eyes on the floor. He glanced over at Lucy and Sting, only to see Lucy with a worried expression on her face as she looked at him.

'What's wrong?' She had mouthed to him.

Natsu shook his head, looking back down, his hair covering his eyes again.

Gray cleared his throat. "I'm going to ask you a question. And you can't punch me this time."

The pink haired boy scoffed.

The raven haired boy took a deep breath in, glancing at Lucy and shaking his head. The blonde furrowed her eyebrows together before turning back to her platinum blonde friend.
