Lucy followed right behind Natsu as they stepped into the music room, resisting the sudden urge to slip her hand into his. The boy glanced back at her and flashed a smile at her before they made their way to the two seats in the back.

She watched as the others filed in afterwards. Lisanna suddenly rushed towards her, a smile on her face. "Hey guys, how do you want to come with us to the Fairy Cafe after school? If you're free."

Lucy smiled. "Yeah, sure."

Natsu grunted before nodding silently, not saying anything. Lisanna ignored his slightly rude response and headed to her seat, being saved by Levy.

As the ivory haired girl turned away, Lucy smacked Natsu's arm lightly. The boy turned to her, rubbing where she'd hit him. "Ow."

"There was no need to be rude," She shook her head disapprovingly.

Natsu shrugged. "That's just who I am, Luce."

The blonde rolled her eyes, shaking her head again. "I don't believe that for a second."

The pink haired boy sat up, confused with what she was implying. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Lucy folded her arms across her chest. "I think you use your 'rudeness'," She said while making air quotes, "as a...wall to hide who you really are. There's more to you than you let on."

Natsu's eyes widened. "What? That doesn't even..." The boy trailed off, realizing he had nothing. He went back to leaning against the chair until it tipped back. "...whatever. You think too much." Natsu reached his arm over to Lucy and lightly flicked her in the middle of her forehead.

The blonde pouted in irritation, facing the teacher as he clapped his hands together to get class started. "Let's start with the original pieces, yeah? Natsu and Lucy, I put you guys up first. Let's get moving."

Both stood from their seats and made their way to the front. On the first day they had already sang the song Natsu composed, but they both decided to make something they could contribute in equally.

Natsu grabbed his guitar and took the stool from the side, putting it in front of the room right next to the piano, where Lucy sat.

The pink haired boy glanced at the blonde, watching her draw circles on her hand nervously. Natsu sighed before leaning over to Lucy and whispering in her ear, "Calm down. You'll be great, I know it."

She froze, feeling him gently blow into her ear, knowing it would annoy her. Lucy sighed softly before looking back at him, nodding.

"Little do you know
How I'm breaking while you fall asleep
Little do you know
I'm still haunted by the memories
Little do you know
I'm tryna pick myself up piece by piece

Little do you know
I need a little more time

Underneath it all I'm held captive by the hole inside
I've been holding back for the fear that you might change your mind
I'm ready to forgive you but forgetting is a harder fight
