"Mira said we could audition today," Lucy said cheerfully, looking at the pink haired boy as they walked down the corridor.

Natsu huffed. "So we're actually going through with this? We only practiced the song like once."

The blonde pursed her lips. She smiled, looking at Natsu. "So what? I know we'll do amazing. It's you and me. And personally," She stood on her tippy-toes, pecking his cheek before chuckling. "I think we make great partners...er--for duets." Lucy rubbed the back of her head.

    The boy smirked, leaning down towards her face. "Only for duets? Nothing else?"

    She scoffed, putting a hand on his face and pushing him away. The blonde walked ahead, hoping he hadn't seen her blush. "Come on, we should get going to the auditorium."

Natsu chuckled quietly, wrapping an arm around her waist. "You didn't answer my question."

The blonde looked at him. "What question?"

    He squinted at her suspiciously. "You know what I'm talking about."

    She shrugged, a sly smile creeping onto her lips. "I'm not sure I do."

    The boy suddenly appeared in front of her, a wide smirk on his face as his hands placed on her waist. "Lucy..." He said slowly. "You wouldn't want me to..."

    The blonde squirmed, knowing what he was about to do. "Don't you dare."

    He grinned evilly before beginning to tickle her sides. Lucy burst out laughing, bending over and trying to get away from Natsu. Her attempts fell flat as he wrapped his arms around her, continuing to tickle her stomach. The blonde wheezed out a breath, squirming crazily. "Natsu...stop...I'm dying..."

The boy stopped tickling her, keeping his hands on her waist as he squinted at her. "You didn't answer my question."

Lucy sighed in defeat, letting a small smile out. "Not just in music."

    "That's all your saying?" He raised an eyebrow.

    She hurriedly slipped out of Natsu's grasp once his hands loosened even a little bit. She flashed him a bright smile. "Yep. Let's get going, yeah?"

    The boy rolled his eyes playfully. "Fine, fine."

    Lucy and Natsu walked side by side, their fingers brushing every now and then. The blonde grabbed his hand, intertwining her fingers with his.

They reached the auditorium right when the two people before they had finished. Everyone clapped while they walked off the stage as Mira walked up to the mic. "Next up is..." Her eyes scanned over the crowd until she spotted them. "Natsu and Lucy!"

    Students clapped respectively as the two of them made their way to the stage. Lucy seated herself on the left stool while Natsu on the right. He positioned his guitar and cleared his throat before looking at the blonde. A microphone had been placed between them.

    She took in a deep breath, rubbing her slightly sweaty palms on her legs. Lucy heard Natsu say her name quietly, letting her eyes wander over to the pink haired boy.
