Classes seemed to move quicker, which was weird seeing as to the periods were about an hour long. Yesterday was still in her mind, though. The lyrics of Natsu's song kept itching their way back into her mind.

As everyone filed out of the music room, heading towards the cafeteria, Lucy decided to head to the courtyard instead. She thought it was easier to just think there.

Although she wanted to know what exactly the song meant, she knew it definitely meant a lot to him, and it was definitely a respectful thing. She didn't want to pry...yet there was an unsettling feeling in her stomach. She really did want to know.

The blonde frowned slightly. "Natsu sure is a mysterious person," She mumbled to herself quietly.

Lucy turned around the corner and sped up her pace, finally seeing the double doors leading outside. She pushed them open, feeling a breeze blow past her.

The blonde inhaled deeply, letting the wind sweep her blonde hair behind her bare shoulders. She readjusted her sleeveless shirt, looking around and making sure there was no one around.

She sat down on the piano-like steps, looking at the walls that had been painted over with many different types of instruments. "This place is amazing..." Lucy thought out loud.

"Talking to yourself again, Luce? You really must be crazy, then."

The blonde slowly turned around and looked up to see the pink haired boy standing at the top of the steps, holding his guitar tightly. He adjusted the black leather jacket and ruffled his hair.

She chuckled.

Natsu walked down the steps until he was right next to the blonde before plopping down next to her, gently blowing in her ear in the process.

Lucy flinched and hurriedly rubbed her ear. "Didn't I tell you to never do that again?"

The boy only shrugged. "Only if you stopped talking to yourself."

She huffed in frustration before shaking her head. Lucy stared at him before hesitantly saying, "Natsu?"

"Hm?"

"What exactly...did the lyrics of your song mean?"

Natsu's eyes narrowed slightly, but Lucy still noticed. "Just something from my past... Why? You worried about me?" He smirked teasingly. It was as if his mood had changed in an instant. The pink haired boy slowly leaned closer towards her face.

She felt her cheeks heat up as she gently pushed him away. "N-no...I was just wondering."

He chuckled, looking down at his guitar, plucking the strings. Lucy stared at him with a small smile. "Do you always carry your guitar around with you?"

Natsu grinned slightly. "My father gave it to me when I was younger, so it's something I never leave behind."

"That's sweet...Can you play something?"
