I think my favorite part about Amourshipping is the evolution of the ship. Let's be honest, in the beginning of the series, Serena's crush on Ash was entirely based off the memory of him helping her in the forest when they were little. Then they spent at least a year traveling together, and she learned that he had flaws as well and still never lost her feelings for him. She went from being in love with him based on an image in her mind to being in love with him for who he was. Isn't that enough of a reason to support Amourshipping?
