Greetings, fellow internet companions. Chances are, if you're a part of any sort of fandom, then you're probably also part of a certain shipping fandom. If not, then...you're weird.
Just kidding.
Anyway, today I will be talking about Pokémon shippings. Or, more specifically, I will be talking about why you should ship unpopular Pokémon ships. Some of these benefits may surprise you.
First of all, popular shipping fandoms are way too competitive. You've seen all the shipping wars that happen. For example, we all know about the Amour vs. Poke war. In an unpopular shipping fandom, however, there's nothing but love. We don't compete with other fandoms or get into wars with them, because no one else knows we exist anyway.
Second of all, being a fan of an unpopular pairing means that there won't be any fanfics about your ship. Don't worry, though, because this means that you get to be the trailblazer.
And finally, the main reason you should join an unpopular shipping fandom is to get a special badge of honor. I don't know what this badge looks like, since I've never actually seen it, but a lot of fans of underrated pairings seem to think they own one.
