Just A Random Thought

I have this alternate universe in my head where in Forging Forest Friendships, the episode plays out as it does in canon, until the part where Hawlucha and Froakie both fall from the tree after getting stuck. This time, instead of Hawlucha noticing Ash's hat on the ground and the two of them agreeing to put aside their differences and work together, they don't notice and continue fighting until Hawlucha finally storms off in anger. But because this is Hawlucha we're talking about, the same Hawlucha that took care of all the weaker Pokemon in his forest, he feels guilty later and goes back.

Only to find out that Froakie has disappeared.

So he starts looking for Froakie, and he's still searching when Pikachu, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie finally catch up.

"Uh...Pikachu?"

"Yes?"

"I might have ditched Froakie for a bit...and...now I can't find him."

"....."

"....but I swear, last time I saw him he was right around here somewhere."

And the whole time, Froakie was being a little shit and silently laughing at Hawlucha as he hid in a tree, completely invisible thanks to practicing the ninja skills Sanpei and his Frogadier taught him.
