Random Facts About Hawlucha

1. He's terrified of spiders. This is because when Hawlucha was a hatchling, a spider bit his mother and she died from its poison. Greninja teased him about his fear for a week before he found out the reason behind it and felt bad afterwards.

2. He loves music, but hates the fact that he's no good at performing it.

3. He didn't always pose every time he entered a battle. At first, it started because he wanted to impress one of the female Pokémon in his forest. It didn't work out, but he found that he enjoyed getting to show off a little and kept on doing it.

4. The reason he got mad at Froakie for interfering during their double battle was because he wanted to impress him with his own strength.

5. He used to be very insecure about the fact that he was the only Pokemon in the group that couldn't evolve. He ended up brooding over this for weeks before a certain frog Pokemon told him that he liked him just fine the way he was and that not being able to evolve didn't mean anything was wrong with him.

6. He and Greninja hate bigotry more than anything in the world. One time, when an employee at a cafe was being homophobic, they started pretending they were a couple and ended up getting themselves (and, by extension, the rest of their friends) banned from the cafe for life. Ash, to their relief, was very proud of them.

7. He's bi.

8. He had a thing for Greninja, back when he was a Froakie. He gave up when he realized that Greninja liked Braixen, but part of it never really went away. Greninja never found out.

9. He was the one Noivern first came to when he developed feelings for a girl for the first time. When she broke his heart, Hawlucha broke her arm.

10. He was desperate enough to get Froakie to like him that he actually asked Chespin for help, who promptly informed him that Froakie really liked nicknames. Needless to say, he never took Chespin's advice again.

11. Despite his personality, he's actually very emotionally fragile. Anything anyone says to him gets taken to heart, although he doesn't usually let it show. This is fine when it's something nice, but obviously less pleasant when it's an insult.

12. He's the only one that's allowed to make fun of Greninja (besides Ash, obviously) without him kicking him across the camp.
