InterNinjas: Chaos Destiny

Chapter 10: Back to Normal?

Sojak couldn't believe everything that had just happened. The Chaos Gems had pulled him back to Earth, where he lay on the ground. He had just fought one of the creators of the Universe, but that thought was not the most important one in his mind.

He wondered how the others were doing. Were they all still alive? If so, where were they? Then he realized something.

He was starting to succumb to the injuries he gathered in battle. The power of the gems had kept him alive, but now that power was gone. Blood soaked the grass, and he couldn't move his body.

Then, out of nowhere, Raison and the other InterKnights appeared. They ran to Sojak, and kneeled beside him. Sojak was heavily grateful his comrades would be with him upon Death. Raison had been healed by magic, but Sojak's wounds would be too great to heal.

Sojak drew his final breath, and passed into the gates of Ultitrium. Sojak was held as a Hero by the remaining InterKnights, and his story was passed from generation to generation.

Many changes were made to the InterKnights over the next few years. Raison knew that if regular humans possessed magical abilities, it would only lead to war. Therefore, he made the InterKnights into a stealthy organization.

He renamed them the "InterNinjas," and kept their group a secret. (Their name was the origin for the Ninjas of Japan, who were famous for stealth.)

As an extra precaution, he stopped accepting new members. Instead, only descendants of the remaining InterKnights would be able to join the InterNinjas.

The InterNinjas exist to this day. They have advanced much further than regular humans, thanks to their magical abilities.

Raison's Descendants are automatically chosen to be the leaders of the InterNinjas, as they have the most powerful Magic.

You may be wondering... How do I know all of this? Why am I yelling you, if they are supposed to be a secret organization? Whatever happened to Solaris and the Chaos Gems?

To answer that first question: I know because I am one of them. As for the other questions.... You will find out in due time.

*This marks the end of the Chaos Era. From this point on, the story will take place in Modern Times, and will be about the InterNinjas.
