I had been sleeping on the floor when the loud creaking of the door made me jump out of my slumber. Beads of sweat coveted my body, It had taken me hours to fall asleep and it hadn't been nearly enough. I just wanted to be in my own bed with Donnies arms draped over me. I use to complain that he smothered me in bed but I would have given anything to be there in that moment.
I heard the woman enter the room so I remained quiet, I kept my eyes closed and hoped she wouldn't bother me.

"Hey get up" the woman yelled as she kicked me in the ribs. Her booted foot hit me hard making me scream. I held my side and scrambled up to my feet. Pain ripped through me, I hadn't felt pain like this since my ex attacked me.

"I need you to sit on the chair and hold this" the woman threw a newspaper at me. I took a moment to look at the front page and saw a photo of Donnie and I. The article was about me being missing, I was grateful that Donnie knew I hadn't left him voluntarily.

"They know I was kidnapped" I asked not expecting an answer.

The woman sneered "we thought we had covered all our tracks other than keeping that mangy dog of yours locked away"

I hadn't realised I was smiling until her fist connected with my face.

"Hold the paper up so the headline is visible, they won't pay the ransom if they think your already dead"

I did as she asked, I must not have done it to her standards because she hit me in the mouth. I felt blood trickle from the corner of my mouth.

"Look at the camera" she shouted.

I did as she ordered and cringed as the flash took me by surprise. The woman's blood shot eyes looked at the photo and smiled. There was an evil glare to her eyes, I wanted to smack that smile off her face. I knew I could have escaped her but I didn't know who was on the other side of the door. I recalled her mentioning a few times the word we, so it was safe to assume there was some one helping her.

I didn't know if there were weapons at their disposal, I didn't even know where I was. I could have been in the middle of nowhere so even if I did escape I could still be in danger with no chance of rescue.

"Were messaging lover boy now so you may be home soon, he's been all over the tv crying for you to go home. He'll pay the big bucks." A cruel cackle left her, I hoped she was right. I didn't want Donnie paying a penny but I did want to be back with him.

"How much is my ransom" I asked

"3 million" she replied.

I almost choked on my own tongue, "he doesn't have that type of money, and I'm certainly not worth that. Please let me go, I will tell them that I was on vacation "

I hoped she would see reason and listen to my cries but I knew she wouldn't, I could see the greed. In her head she was already spending the money , I knew I wasn't safe until I was either found or the money was paid.

"I'm not arguing with you on that one, your not worth shit. My partner says we will easily get what we want especially with two millionaires in your bed"

"I don't have 2 millionaires in my bed, I'm only with Donnie" I don't know what came over me but I snapped. It didn't do me any good it only resulted in me getting another kick in the side.

"You really are a slut, just like your mother" and with that bombshell she slammed the door as she left.

My head whipped around so fast that I got whiplash, I was sure I must have heard her incorrectly. The thought of that vile woman disrespecting my mother like that made rage fill me. It was as though I had been plugged into a power socket, all my energy had returned to me. I was like a raging bull, I knew that I needed to escape. I wouldn't let that vile woman get a penny. I couldn't understand why she would mention my mother, I was sure it was just a rude remark meant to hurt me.

I was weak, I needed to build up my strength. I couldn't do squats or crunches due to what I believed were broken ribs. I searched the room for something I could use in my workout but found noting but half full paint cans. Beggars couldn't be choosers so I used them as weights and ran across the room, I didn't know how long I would be in captivity and I wanted to remain strong.

I heard the familiar noise of footsteps approaching so I dropped the paint and sat on the chair.

"Use the bucket, we have a long drive ahead. The big guy has agreed to pay, he's meeting us in Mexico" the door slammed behind her.

I did as she said and used the bucket, I checked the room again for a weapon but found nothing. I emptied my water bottle and filled it with the paint from the tin, I was planning to leave a trail from the house so I could lead the police to my kidnappers.

The door opened and she called for me to leave the room, The first thing that hit me was the natural sunlight that shone through the windows it was blinding. Magda as I now know her to be called tied my hands with rope in front of me so I could be controlled. I was led to a garage that was attached to the house, I could hear the sound of the cars ignition.

I was just being placed into the cramped trunk when I saw him, I thought it was an hallucination but when I heard his voice I knew he was real.

"Hello princess"
