It's an AU where Person A suddenly has the power to make the people around them act differently or like make them fall for them. All the while Person B surprisingly acts no differently from normal.
Person A is a Musician while Person B is an Artist. They meet and Person A catches an interest in Person B, both connecting for their love of the arts. The catch? Person B is deaf (you'll have to do heavy research about the different ways a person can end up deaf and how they act in everyday situations that way you don't fall into ableism. I recommend reading about actual people and their experiences.)
Person A is now being haunted by the ghost of Person B. Be it Person A is a sensitive medium or Person A moves into a haunted area or they meet through other means. (You can get really angsty with this idea.)
