      Chapter 64

                                                                         Grace's POV.

Holy, it's been so long since I've seen her. I can't believe how big her belly is looking, I thought to myself as she was standing at the top of the stairs.

"I'm ready" Aubrey called down the stair well.

"Finally, we've all been waiting for over ten minutes. What took you so long?" I asked.

"I'm pregnant, it's not easy getting dressed and everything." Aubrey responded in a cranky tone.

"Oh, don't be so cranky." I responded, smirking.

The whole ride there all I had on my mind is the reasons I haven't called them lately and everything. I couldn't help but feel guilty not telling them. I figured I'd must tell them tonight.

"Finally we're here, I'm starving." Riley said.

"I couldn't agree more." Nathaniel said.

I just looked at Aubrey, I couldn't help but notice she looked kind of upset, like worry in her eyes. I wanted to ask her what was going on, but for some reason I felt like I already knew. As I've been held hostage with my boyfriend for a bit, he was also telling us his plans and what he's been doing. He had mentioned he stopped by for a quick "visit" while Aubrey was waiting for her ultrasound. Creepy how he actually knew what she would be doing and when. He never explained how he found these things out but I just wish I could tell Aubrey everything. I really don't know how she'd take it though. I was interrupted in my thoughts as Aubrey started speaking..

"So guys, I have an announcement." Aubrey said.

When I heard that I already knew what it would be about, of course. Her baby considering I already knew about the ultrasound because the man who keeps me hostage, I just don't know how far along she is.

"What is it?" Riley and I asked.

Aubrey and Nathaniel looked at each other and smiled and then Aubrey said, "I'm going to be due anytime this month and I want you two to be the god parents."

"Seriously? Oh my goodness, that is such amazing news and of course we want to be the god parents." I said as I felt a huge smile come across my face. I hadn't smiled ever since I've seen her last when I was finally out of the house. There's nothing to smile at at home considering I can't even be with my boyfriend, we're both kept in other rooms. I had so much to ask him but couldn't figure out the right time to.

"What do you think you're going to name him?" Riley asked.

"We're not sure yet, I guess we want to see what he looks like first, but we're going to start thinking of a couple names soon.'' Aubrey said with a beautiful, big smile.

Well, now I definitely cannot tell her what's happening just yet, it'll put too much stress on her considering her baby is due soon which I can't imagine the stress of that and to also have someone stalking her. I thought I had planned everything out, I had even promised myself while I stayed, trapped in that room all this time that the next time I see her I would tell her, but now everything has changed. Seeing her in person made it a million times harder and I know today would not be the right time, but I don't know when it would ever be.

Supper was coming to an end, I couldn't help but feel guilty, knowing I knew what was happening and couldn't tell her.  I promise, and I will keep this promise that I will tell her what is happening next time I see her, which will most likely the day she gives birth.
