Chapter 4

[Next Morning]

A sound came from downstairs, which made Klaus, Melissa, Betty and Kai wake up.

"What happened?" Kai asked Mel when he felt her getting up.

"Someone's in the house." She said and they both walked out of their room.

They walked down the hallway and they saw Klaus and Betty getting out of their rooms, too.

"Did you guys heard it, too?" Betty asked and they nodded.

They all started walking downstairs but they stopped. "I don't think that it's a good idea if all of us go downstairs." Kai said.

"Yeah, true." the all agreed.

"So, who is going?" Kai asked.

"I am!" they all said together.

"Great.." Betty said.

"Well, I suggest that me and Melissa should go since we can't be killed." Klaus suggested.

"I can go, too. I am a witch, you know." Kai reminded.

"Well, and I am badass." Betty continued and they all turned to look at her. "What?" she questioned. "Why are you looking at me like this, I am a badass."

"Okay, me and Klaus are going."

"But-"

"A na na na! No buts, no coconuts!" Mel said and her and the two siblings walked down the stairs.

"Don't you just hate it, when they don't let you get in action?" Betty asked Kai.

"I will agree with you." Kai said nodding.

Klaus and Melissa walked down the stairs.

"Do you even see anyone?" she asked.

"Nope, but don't be fooled, love. Some people are very good at hide and seek." Klaus said.

"I can't disagree with that."

Then they heard someone walking and singing. They followed where the singing came from, which leaded them into the living room. The singing got louder and louder. Both were ready to attack whoever was in there. Their fangs got out as the person came in front of them and they almost attacked him.

"Kol?" Klaus asked when he saw his brother. Kol just ignored him and fell onto the couch.

"Are you drunk?" Melissa asked him as Betty and Kai walked downstairs.

"What's happening?" Betty asked.

"Kol is drunk." Melissa explained and her Betty rolled their eyes simultaneously.

Klaus walked over to the couch were Kol was lying. "How many drinks did you have?"

"I stopped counting when I found out that Barry Allen is not real." Kol replied, talking no-sense.
