Chapter 5

"To our reunion!", Mel shoutet while the music was playing loudly in the background.

"YAASSSS", Betty laughed as they clinked their glssses.

After a while of drinking alcohol and laughing Betty was already drunk.

"Anyonee wanna dance with meee?", she asked totally drunk.

Since nobody wanted to dance she just drank more and more.

"I think that's enough, love.", Klaus told her and took her glass out of her hand.

"Oh and who are you to tell me what to do? My Dad? My boyfriend? NO!", she said and took her glass back.

"Oh did I make you sad? Well, remember that YOU were the one that left me heartbroken and alone when I needed you the most.", she confronted him.

"Now if no one wants to dance with me, I'm simply gonna find someone else.", she told them while going to the dance floor.

"She can be a real bitch when she's drunk", Mel said to Klaus.

"Yeah, she is a bad drunk.", he laughed trying to hide his sadness and guilt.

After all what she said was true. He left her.

"Look at Betty rocking the dance floor", Rebekah laughed.

That laughter stopped when she saw a guy dancing with her.

"You know what never mind", she said and blocked Klaus' view so he wouldn't see her. She knew he would kill the guy right away and she didn't want to ruin the party mood everyone was in, well at least nearly everyone.

"I'm gonna go and dance with her so she won't be lonely", Mel said as she saw why Rebekah blocked his view.

"Rebekah, sister, could you please get out of my way?",he asked nicely but still annoyed as he knew she was trying to hide something.

When Rebekah got out of his way, he just saw Mel and Betty dancing together.

"How did you get up? I thought you all were not in the mood to dance.", Betty said suprised.

"Well, I don't want this night to end in a bloodbath. Why would you dance with a random guy?", she asked.

"Jeez, chill your hormones. It was just a guy and I think I'm old enough to dance with whom ever I want to", she answered giving her a smile.

"Did I mention that you are a real bitch when you're drunk?", Mel said.

"Yes. Plenty of times", she giggled.

"Gosh dancing and talking at the same time is hard. Can we sit down?", she asked out of her breath.

"Yeah sure.", Mel responded while walking with her back.

"Is it just me or is this girl staring at us?", Rebekah asked suspiciously.

"You're being paranoid but she is hot tho.", Kol smirked.

"I think I'm gonna puke.", Betty told Mel.

"Ohhh nooo not here! Let's go to the toilet.", she said and went on the toilet.

Mel had a feeling like someome followed her but she saw no one and let it go.

"You okay?", Mel asked Betty.
"Yeah. I didn't have to puke, phew.", she said being relieved.

Mel just laughed and went with her back to the others.

"Everything alright, love?", he asked concerned.

"Yeah, I think so.", Betty answered.

Kai joined the three and gave Betty a water bottle.
"You better drink this all because I don't want you to  throw a rock at me screaming 'picachooo go attack thiss witch bitch' ", he imitaded her.

They all laughed at her while she pretended to be mad and drank the water.
"That is not true!!", she defended herself.

"Oh please, we all know it's true.", Mel laughed.

*A few hours later*

"I'm so tired I could literally sleep on the floor right now.", she said while walking in the house.

She layed her head on Klaus' shoulder and slowly closed her eyes.

"Looks like you got to bring her upstairs, brother.", Rebekah said.

Mel and Kai were already in their rooms and doing their own thing.

Klaus carried her up while watching her sleep.
He layed her down on his bed.

"Sorry for being a bitch to you.", she apologized half a sleep.

"You don't have to apologize. I should. I'm sorry for leaving you when you needed me the most. I don't think I can forgive myself for that...", he admitted

"It's okay, Klaus.", she said sleepy.

"No it's not. I really messed up but the truth is that I still love you and-"

He stopped speaking when he noticed that she already fell asleep.

"Goodnight, love.", he said and kissed her forhead.

In the middle of the night both, Mel and Betty, started screaming and woke up the others.

"What happened?", Rebekah asked as she came to Klaus' room. Kol did the same with Mel.

"Nightmare...", they both answered.
