They all sat down together in the living room to discuss what they had figured out.

"Esther is behind this and...", Klaus started.
"She wants to kill the baby.", Betty completed the sentence he had started.
"W-what? Why?!", Mel asked and put her hand over her belly.
"She wants to undo her mistakes, I guess. You know, she turned you guys into vampires and now she needs to fix it for nature.", Betty answered.
"This girl Marcel brought here, she helped Esther but now she is on our side.", Kai explained.

Suddenly Davina walked in.

"So why did you need me to come here?", she asked.

Nearly everyone was confused about what she was talking about because they all didn't ask her to come.

"It's not a trap guys, I asked her to come.", Betty told them.
"When the bloody hell did you talk to her and how did we not notice it?", Klaus asked confused.
"I still have some of my powers remember?", Betty said.

"So what do you want?", Davina asked her.
"What do YOU want? I don't believe that you wanted to help us because you were feeling bad. I mean I do believe that you felt bad but there's something else...", she said.
"There is, actually...", she answered.

She had everyone's attention now. Everyone waoted for her to answer.

"Well... I want to be immortal, too. Esther said she'd make me but that doesn't make any sense since she is against immortality.", she explained.
"That's easy. We'll just turn you into a vampire after you broke Esther's spell.", Klaus said.

"But I want to stay a witch. I want to be an immortal witch. That's the catch.", she explained.
"And how would we help you?", Rebekah asked.
"The baby. It's powerful. You help me and I'll always help you.", she offered.
"We have to think about it. You can go.", Elijah told her.

She was gone and it was quiet in the room. Everyone waited for either Mel or Kai to say something. But they stayed silent and thought about it. They didn't know what to do.

"You don't have to do it." Betty said while putting a hand on her shoulder to comfort her.

"Actually they have to. Otherwise the baby is dead and so are we.", Kol said everyone's thoughts out loud.

Betty gave him a
'seriously?'-look.

"What it's the truth. Everyone's thinking it but you are too scared to say it.", he said.

"He is right. We have to do it. There is no other way", Mel said.
"There is always another way.", Betty said trying to give her Hope.
"How can you always stay this positive? I really don't understand.", Kol said.

Betty just rolled her eyes and wanted to say something but suddenly Mel stood up and ran to the bathroom. Betty immediately ran after her and held her hair back while she puked.
"You okay?", Betty asked worried as Mel washed her mouth to get the taste of the puke away.
"As okay as a pregnant woman can be.", she said.
"You should go upstairs and get some sleep.", Betty said and walked her upstairs.

Mel changed and jumped onto her bed. Betty covered her with her blanket and sat down next to her.

"Are you sure you want to make this deal with the witch bitch?", Betty asked her.
"I have to... Kol was right. There is no other choice and you know it.", she said.
"I'm not giving up!", she said.
"But seriously, how come that you are always posotive. You lived long enough to know that the world is cruel and hopeless.", Mel asked.
"I don't believe that. The world is a beautiful place, even though some terrible things have happened. I mean we all have done some terrible things but are we terrible people because of that? Everyone has something good inside of them.", she explained.
"Even Esther?", Mel asked
"Yeah, even Esther. She just wants to balance the nature. I'm not saying that it's good what she wants to do but she has good intentions.", Betty said.
"You should try being a therapist or something like that.", Mel laughed, trying to losen up.
"I know right! Like a supernatural therapist.", she laughed.

"Okay you need to get some rest, now. Sleep.", Betty said.

"Have I told you that you are the best best friend that someone can have?", Mel told her.
"Yeah, once or twice.", she laughed.
"Not to mention that you are hotter than tea.", Mel laughed now, too.

They both laughed so hard that their stomach started to hurt.

"You still remember this joke?", Betty asked while still laughing.
"Of course I do.", she answered
"You know what else I remember?", Mel said.
"A bunch of screenshots from where we sent pictures and videos to each other.", Mel laughed.
"And you know what I remember?", Betty said.
"What?", Mel asked curious.
"Me proposing to you. We promised to have a june wedding if we hadn't found THE ONE", Betty laughed.
"I still have photos of that day", Mel laughed.

"You are such a smol bean, you know that?", Betty told her.
"And you are a living meme.", Mel chuckled

"Love youu.", Betty said while hugging her.
"Love you, too.", Mel answered.
