Chapter 18

they kept knocking the door.

"Betty , Melissa i know you are in there!" a known male voice said behind the door.

"Klaus?!?" Betty said both shocked and confused.

"Open the door!" he shouted.

"No!" Betty shouted back. she turned to Mel "I can't believe you! You called Klaus!" she said angry.

"Betty I'm sorry."

Before Betty could reply Klaus shouted once again. "if you dont open the door i will be more than happy to break it down."

Betty looked furious at Mel and then looked around. "I'll count till three. One, two..." Betty thought quickly of a plan. "Three." Klaus broke the door down and got into the room. By the time he got in, there was no-one in the room. he looked around to only face an open window. he looked out the window and then jumped out of it, looking for his sister and his girl.

Once again, Betty had knocked out Mel, she carried her on her shoulder as she walked through the woods. she was looking for someone. actually, not only one. she was looking for a pack. it wasn't just a normal pack. it was a pack full of bad guys, people who manipulate. even tho Betty knew how bad those people were she was still trying to find this pack. why? because those people could hide them properly. she knew Klaus wouldn't find them anytime soon if she asked them for help. she walked through the woods trying to find them. after walking for a while she found them.

"well, well, well... if this is not Betty then I don't know who it is." a guy said, approaching them.

"Well, hello Jason. I need your help." she said as she left Mel on the ground. she slowly opened her eyes when her back hit the floor.

"is this one of the originals?"

"yeah, the hybrid one, Klaus's twin sister."

"Mhm, so what do you need help with?"

"I need you to help me hide from Klaus and the others.  I need you to hide her, too." she said pointing at Melissa. "and we both know you want something in return, so what is it?"

"mhm," jason said as he looked at Mel who started standing up. she looked lost, not knowing what has happened. "i need her." he said looking at the original hybrid.

"sure." betty said with no hesitation.

"excuse me? what do you need me for?"

"we can use you as a weapon. against the Mikaelsons."

"ha ha ha ha. nice joke. im not turning against my own family."

"fine, then you will turn us to hybrids."

"there are no doppelgangers how are you supposed to turn without their blood?"

jason looked sceptical. "im sorry Betty but I cant help you since you cant help me."

"wait! what if there's another way?"

"what other way?" jason looked interested on what Betty was saying.

"do you have a witch?" she asked.

"yeah, we have some." he replied waiting for her to get to the point. melissa looked lost again, not knowing what to expect.

"you can ask your witch to use a spell to take away her vampirism so you and everyone else who wants can turn from a werewolf to a hybrid."

"what?!?" mel freaked out. "Betty that's insane!"

"no, that's genius!" jason said surprised. "it's a deal then." he extended his hand to Betty and they shook hands. jason asked his witch to come over. Mel backed away. She would try to escape but she did not know where the exit was.

"this is my blood, my body, my system. im not letting you do this." she denied. the witch came closer and closer. There was no escape from her. the witch said some words in latin as she looked into Mel's eyed and hypnotized her. Mel's eyed started to close as she fell asleep. The Jason guy picked her up and put her into a room. he put chains on both her arms and legs so she couldn't go away. Betty just watched the whole situation.

Jason walked over to her. "they will make it impossible to find you. they will do a spell to not let people find you from a locator spell." he explained and she nodded. "Now she will have to wake up so we can start taking off some of her vampirism."

[few hours later]

Mel woke up. "Hey sleepy head." a guy said from the corner of the room. he started walkinh up to her. Mel tried to move, attack him but she just found out she was chained up. "im Gregor, now i will start off with the spell."

"No, I wont let you."

"Oh sweetheart you've no choice." he smirked. "just to let you know, it's gonna hurt like a bitch." he said before placing his hands on her head as he started chanting. Mel started screaming in pain as Gregor kept going with the spell. Some of the werewolves started turn hybrids. As he kept on going Mel's hybrid face showed up. He roared as she tried to break the chains buy it was no use. As time passed Mel kept screaming in pain, her claws got out and she scratched whatever she could touch.

A bit later Gregor's nose started bleeding. He backed away, stopping the spell. Twelve werewolves were turned into hybrids. "That's enough for today, I'll see you tomorrow."

Things kept going like that for days. The Other Four Mikaelsons and Kai couldn't find them. Betty was completely fine, not minding what wad happening, the screams of her best friend became a common sound. The more werewolves were turned the more powerless Melissa turned. They hadn't been feeding her all these days. Her body weak.

She hadn't slept at all. The times she slept she had nightmares. Except a couple times when she dreamed about everyone back in New Orleans, everyone happy. But it was nothing more than a dream.

She was standing there chained up. Betty had brought her a dress style pyjama for her to wear so she would be more comfortable. Betty visited her day by day, especially when she was bored. Most times Mel saw Betty was when she was hallucinating. She wanted the old good Betty back. And what hurted more was what Klaus said. All this was her fault.
