Chapter 16

Betty and Klaus arrived back at home. A bit later Davina and Marcel where there, too. Klaus was looking at Betty every single minute while she seemed angry and hurt. Davina searched through the grimoires and found a spell to get in Betty's head and see what's going on. She put ash on her hands and stepped to Betty ready to put her hands on the left and right of her head.

Betty backed away. "Um what are you doing?" Betty asked Davina.

"I'm trynna get into your head to see what's happening with you."

"Nothing is happening with me."

"Betty please let Davina do it. It's not gonna hurt and it will take only a few seconds." Mel said softly, trying to convince Betty.

"Fine. But after that I'm going upstairs." Betty said and Mel nodded in agreement. She let Davina get into her head.

Davina took her hands off Betty's head and stepped back. "It's done." She said and stepped back. Then Betty went upstairs.

Klaus looked at Davina waiting for her to explain. "She has stuck in a specific memory. She knows what has happened through the years but about Klaus... the last thing she remembers about you is when you left her." Davina said, looking mostly at Klaus. "She lowkey hates you at the moment."

Klaus looked down nodding his head. He looked both angry and hurt. He then turned to face Melissa. "This is all your fault! Your mistake!" He shouted at her. "You and your great plan! Bullshit!" He vamp sped to his twin sister. Pinning her against the wall, grabbing her by her throat. Her feet couldn't touch the ground.

"K-Klaus-" Mel tried to say while Klaus made his grip tighter.

"Leave her alone Klaus." Betty said looking at them from the stairs. "You've caused enough pain." Klaus looked at Betty, her words hurt him. He then turned to Mel again, his expression even angrier. Mel couldn't breathe anymore. "I SAID LEAVE HER ALONE!" Betty yelled at Klaus while running at them. She pushed Klaus away from Mel. Melissa coughed and tried to catch her breath. "Are you okay?" She asked looking worried at her. She turned looked at Klaus disgusted before they headed upstairs.

They got into Kai's and Mel's room and sat on the bed. "You feeling better?"

"Yeah, it's no big deal."

"Klaus is so unable to control his anger. I guess the fact that he is the most powerful creature in the world made his selfishness blow off."

"Hey not the most powerful creature. I'm an original hybrid too!" Mel said and smiled and giggle quietly and so did Betty.

"Well at least you care if you hurt someone, Klaus will just leave you and hurt you with no hesitation." Betty said and their faces went serious again.

"Klaus can be a dick, true, but he does love you, Betty. To be exact he is in love with you."

"He left me, Melissa! Last time I checked leaving someone is such a not romantic move."

"That does not mean he lost what he felt for you."

"But it also does not mean he still likes me."

"You are the love of his life, Betty. And he is an immortal creature!"

"Yeah, whatever. All boys are dicks. Except Elijah, he actually never stopped being a gentleman."

"You're not switching Mikaelsons are you?" Melissa said clearly teasing her.

"If I was switching Mikaelsons I would choose you."

"Hmmm, I would tottaly turn gay for you
shall run to the sun together?"

"Yeah, and what about that June Wedding?"

"We should tottaly do that!"

" hell Yeah!"

"Yes!!" They said and laughed.

"We should really do run away, tho you know. I don't wanna be around Klaus and since after everything Kai has done you shouldn't be around him either."

"I get that you don't wanna be arounf Klaus but I love Kai and he loves me and we are okay. I wanna be around him."

"He still can hurt you and I really do not want that to happen, Melissa!"

"Okay but you will see me hurt some day anyway. You can't do anything to avoid that."

"Actually I can." Betty said sceptical.

"What?" Mel asked confused.

"I will take you away from them."

"No, Betty. What the-" Mel started saying but Betty put a hand over her mouth and closed Mel's nose so she couldn't breathe. She soon enough was currently dead. Betty sighed and picked up Mel's current dead body and junped off the window. She put her in the car and them started driving.

"Hey girls do you need anything?" Kai asked from outside his and Mel's room. He knocked on the door. "Is Everything alright?" He asked and knocked again. "Betty? Mel?" He opened the door to see no-one except a window open. He looked around and then ran downstairs. "Betty and Mel are gone." He said as soon as he arrived on the living room where the other four Originals were.

"What do you mean they are 'gone' ?" Rebekah asked.

"They were and mine and Mel's room but now they are not."

"They can't just go poof gone. They can't just jump on the broomstick ans leave." Kol said.

"Maybe Harry Potter took them." Kai replied.

"Our house is NOT Hogwarts." Klaus said snapping them back to reality.

"But Kai obviously is Harry Potter. Where do you hide your broomstick and giant hats?" Kol asked Kai.

"Hilarious," Kai said in return.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you Malfoy and Potter but we have more important things to focus on." Elijah said.

"I will try and call them." Rebekah said and dialled Mel's number.

Meanwhile, Betty was still driving and Mel was still passed out. Mel's phone rang and Betty picked it up.

"Melissa?" Rebekah asked.

"It's Betty, Melissa can't speak at the moment."

"Why?"

"I knocked her out?"

"What do you mean?" Rebekah asked confused .

"I took her away from all of you."

"What? Where are you?"

"That's for me to know and for you to dot dot dot." Betty said smirking. "Goodbye Rebekah." She said as she ended the call and dropped Mel's phone out of the window while driving.
