Chapter 39

While Mel was dancing with Isaac, Kai was already having his 5th glass of alcohol.

"I think that's enough for now.", Betty said and took away his glass.
"They've been dancing for 10 minutes.", he said while looking at them laughing while dancing.
"Because they haven't seen each other in a while and they are friends.", Betty explained.
"Sure.", he said while taking his glass back and drinking all of it.
"You know that you are the only guy for Mel. Don't be jelly belly.", she told him and hit his arm playfully while laughing.
"Did you just say 'jelly belly'?", he asked and laughed a bit.
"See, you're laughing. Don't let him ruin your mood. Take her from him witchy bitch!", she motivated him to go to his girlfriend.
"You know what? You're right!", he realized.
"I'm always right, hun. Now go!", she said and pushed him to Mel.

Right when Isaac was gonna make her turn around, Kai took her hand and pulled her towards himself.

"Sneaky move, boyfriend.", she said and smiled at him.
"Well, I still got some tricks.", he said and gave her a wink.
"Hmmm. Are you jealous?", Mel asked him and smirked.
"Me? What? Noo! Why would I be? I mean I look a lot hotter than him and your family and betty like me more.", he told her.
"I'm not sure about the last part. You know, Stefan and Damon were against us kinda.", she teased him.
"Stefano doesnt want his sissy to grow up and Damon was just jealous because he couldn't have me.", Kai joked.
"Yeah, right.", Mel laughed.

"Look at them, they are so cute!! Am I right?", Betty said to Isaac.
"Yeah, really cute.", he said sarcastically.
"You know, I missed you blue blue.", she told him and smiled.
"Are you still calling me blue blue? Please stop. That name is horrible.", he said and laughed.

"Isaac, look...", she started.
"Ohh I can sense serious Betty. What is it?", he joked.
"As much as you are my friend, Kai is too. So if you are here to get Mel back and break them up, I'm going to break your bones.", Betty said and smiled.
"I thought you shipped us?", he asked with a played sad face.
"Ya, but Kai and Mel are just better. #sorrynotsorry.", she told him truthfully.
"Ouch. My biggest fan is gone.", he played hurt and Betty laughed.

"We haven't officially met, I'm Klaus. Melissa's twin and Betty's boyfriend.", he told Isaac.
"Yeah, I remember Mel talking about you. You are a little aggressiv and you have a big ego.", Isaac said.
"Excuse me?", Klaus said.
"You are excused.", Isaac answered sassy.

"Okay, I'll rip his heart out and feed it to the birds if he goes on like that.", Klaus whispered to Betty while trying to control his anger.
"Hey, it's okay. I'll desl with him.", she told him and smiled.

Klaus gave him a death stare and went to the kitchen to get some more drinks.

"Seriously, Isaac? You've been here for an hour and look at the people you already pissed off!", Betty said annoyed.
"2. Your boyfriend and Mel's. You know, I bet you're not allowed to do anything by yourself with that dude as your boyfriend.", he said to her.
"So not true! He gives me my space and I'm handling everything with my choice, not his. If you knew me at all you know that I don't let people tell me what to do.", she told him.
"Yeah and then you get in trouble.", he said.
"Nooo. I'm nott!", she defended herself.

"Anyway, try not to piss off everyone and stay in your lane. If you don't cause trouble, you'll get out of here alive and without any broken bones. Have fun.", she said and smiled.

After that she walked away and went to the kitchen to search for Klaus but he wasn't there, so she figured he was probably in the living room.

She looked from the kitchen door to the living room and saw Klaus giving Isaac death stares while he gave him provoking smirks.

Betty then decided to go to the bathroom but as soon as she opened the door, she closed it again because Rebekah and Stiles were there kissing half naked.

"Then I guess I have to go to mine and Klaus' bathroom.", she said while heading to their room.

When she closed the door she looked at the mirror and checked if her hait was still fleeky.

"You still look georgous, don't worry, love", a familiar male voice said.

But it was not Klaus' voice. She turned around to see Marcel standing there and smirking at her.

"I hate this guy.", Klaus whispered to Kai while pouring them a drink.
"Yes! Finally someone who hates him! I swear everyone loves him and I don't even get why.", Kai opened up to Klaus.
"I know right! He is trying to be cute and sassy but the only thing that comes out is his selfishness and he is so childish, in a bad way.",Klaus gossiped with Kai about him.
"And everyone falls for his stupid act!", Kai said bitter.

"Wel, I heard Betty threatening him to break all of his bones if he tries something on Mel.", he told Kai proud of his girlfriend.
"Betty always had a good taste in everything. Speaking of Betty, where is she?", Kai asked him.
"She is right there- or not...", he said while pointing to the place Betty was standing but now there was no one.

They both looked around but Betty was no where to be seen.

"Hey, Mel, have you seen Betty?", Klaus asked his twin.
"No I thought she was with you.", Mel said confused.
"The last person she spoke to was your little ex.", Klaus said and looked at him like he was gonna attack him.
"Wait. Don't attack him. Did you look upstairs?", Mel asked.
"Of course we did! We looked everywhere. Even outside!", Kai told his girlfriend.

"Hey Isaac, did you see Betty?", Mel asked him nicely and made Klaus and Kai roll their eyes.
"She went to the kitchen after we talked.", he said.

"Listen up, you stupid little werewolf, if you know where she is, you better tell me right now because if I find out you had anything to do with it, I won't let anyone stop me from feeding your heart to the birds, understood?", Klaus threatened him while holding him from his throat and pushing him against the wall.
"I d-don't know a-anything. Let me g-go.", he said a little frightened of him and Klaus let him go.
