Chapter 49

It was the next morning. Everyone was up and making breakfast like a normal happy family. After that they all sat down and ate together.

After the breakfast they went to the living room and sat there.

"Uncle Nik?", the little witch asked.
"Yes, sweetie?", he said.
"Did you tell auntie Betty about what I told you?", she whispered to him.
"What did you tell me?", he asked not knowing what she means.
"A friend for me!", she told him a little mad because he forgot.
"Ohhh, that. Right, I forgot. Don't you want to tell her?", he asked her.

Since everyone could hear what they were talking about, because of their vampire hearing, they tried not to laugh while Betty and Kai looked confused at the others.

Mel then told him what she heard and he started to laugh while looking at her.

"What's so funny?", she asked them confused and looked at everyone.
"Nothing", Kai tried to say serious but started laughing harder.
"Okay Kai, it's not that funny, chill.", Kol said.

"I feel left out. I wanna knoww. Tell mee.", she said trying to get an answer out of them.
"Well...", Mel started.
"Yeahh...?"
"Klaus, why don't you tell her? I mean it's your... business.", she said and laughed a little.

Kai was already laying ln the ground and holding his stomach because he was laughing too much.

Betty and Klaus went upstairs while Mel and Lissa tried to calm Kai down.

"What is it? Why are you all making a big thing out of it?", Betty asked him curious.
"You know, the other day, Lissa asked me if we could get her a friend.", he told her.
"A friend? Why don't we just send her to school? She'll find friends there.", Betty said confused.
"No, not like that. A friend, like a friend by her side...", he tried to explain but only got more confused looks from Betty.
"Bloody hell, she means if we can't make a baby.", he finally said.
"Oh. OHHHH. That friend.", she said.
"Yes, so what do you think? Wanna make a baby?", he said with a smirk on his face."

"What are they saying??", Kai asked curious.
"He told her.", Mel told him
"And...?"
"He asks her if she wants to make babies. Okay ew. This is kind of gross to listen to.", she said.

"Suprise!", Marcel said while coming in with Davina.

They looked at him. Kol and Davina exchanged flirting looks. Mel looked at Marcel full of hatred, as did Kai.

"What are YOU doing here?", Mel asked him.
"Just came by to see if you guys need anything.", he answered.
"We don't want anything from you, now go.", Kai said.
"Don't worry I'm not gonna try to kill you guys again. I changed.", he told them.
"Sure, you did and I am pepe the frog.", Mel answered sarcastically.
"I really did. I realized that threatening you won't bring me anything.", he said.
"And by anything you mean Betty. You realized that your stupid threatening plans don't work on her. Congrats you finally came to your senses!", she said and sat down.
"Speaking of, where is Betty?", he asked.
"Making babies.", Kai said and had to laugh a little again.
"What?", he asked confused.
"You know you always say that you could give her everything but you can't. Can you give her babies? Noo. Because you are a vampire.", she said and poured a drink.
"I'm sorry for killing you but stop acting like a bitch.", he told her.
"What did you just call her?", Kai said and snapped his neck, then threw him out of the house like a piece of garbage.

Kol and Davina were already gone. They had another date.

Stiles and Rebekah were back in their rooms and cuddling and Elijah wasn't home. He was quiet often not home for a few weeks. Nobody knows what he is doing and nobody asks him.

"Everything okay here?", Betty asked while walking towards them with Klaus behind her.
"Yeah, we just threw the garbage outside.", Kai told them.
"Okay?", she said and sat down next to Mel.

"Mel, can we go shopping?", Betty asked her after a moment of silence.
"Um, sure.", she said.
"Great! Let's go.", Betty said and jumped up.
"Now?"
"Now. Come on.", Betty said and went shopping with her.

"Why are you two so awkward? She's not even looking at you.", Kai asked him.
"I don't know. When I asked her about the baby thing she didn't say anything. She just sat down on the bed and said that she doesn't know.", Klaus told him.
"Maybe she's just scared because she doesn't want to lose a child again.", Kai said.
"What if she doesn't want any kids?", he asked sad.
"Mel didn't want a kid either and look at us now. Happier than we could ever be and also, we are talking about Betty. Of course she wants kids. It's probably nothing don't worry.", he told him.

"Why did you want to get out of there so badly?", Mel asked while looking for clothes for Lissa.
"Ugh, I totally failed. When Klaus told me about the baby thing, I remembered the first time I was pregnant and got kinda emotional.", she told her.
"That's totally normal. You need a little time. That's okay. Just tell him.", she said.
"Yeah but he was so happy and excited to have a baby.", she told her.
"Now you know how I felt.", she said.

"Hey, Mel. Don't look but this man has been following us all day.", Betty whispered to her best friend while walking outside.
"Which man?", she asked and turned around.
"Didn't I say DON'T look?", she said
"Sorry. But which one?", she asked again.
"Blue eyes. Dark blonde hair. Tall. At age 35-45", she described him.

"Oh shit, he's coming! Act natural!", Betty said and took out her phone.
"Excuse me, ladies. I'm searching for this place but I can't find it, could you help me?", he asked them and showed them the address.

It was their adress.

"Um who are you looking for exactly?", Betty asked nicely.
"Someome named Klaus.", he said and looked at them.
"Yeah, we'll help you. Just follow us.", Betty said and walked in the opposite way of their house.

Mel just followed her and thought that she probably wanted to bring him to some creepy old house to kill him or something.

"Here we are.", Betty said and smiled.
"You sure this is the right address?", he asked suspicious.
"Yes, cery s-"

They were cutt off by some dudes that broke their necks.
