Chapter 33

Kai and Betty had found the place where Mel and Klaus were. It was New York.

Kai and Betty went to a café where Klaus and Mel apparently were going dialy.

It was night and they were sitting there and thinking how they could bring them back.

"We could do the same thing you guys did with me when we came to New Orleans.", Kai suggested.
"No, they are not dumb. They would figure out we just made an act.", she rejected his idea.
"Well what would you say? You rejected all of my ideas.", Kai became a little pissed.
"We need something that could get to them. Something that doesn't involve death.", she said while thinking.

Then they both looked at each other because they had an idea.

"Are you thinking what I am thinking?", Kai asked.
"Yes, I am. But do you think it's an good idea? What if they get even madder or worse what if they won't care?", Betty doubted the idea for a second.
"It's the only plan that could maybe work.", Kai told her.
"Fine. Lets get to our room in the hotel. We need to change for tonight's plan.", Betty said and they both went to the hotel.

"I am bored. Lets do some killings tonight!", Mel said while laying on her bed and watching Klaus paint something with blood.
"We could go to this party tonight in the bar. I heard it will be full of people today.", Klaus said and smirked.
"YASS!", she laughed.

"What are you even drawing?", Mel asked him.
"None of your business. Now go and get ready. We'll leave soon for the party.", he told her and she got ready.

"It looks stupid!", Betty said and didn't come out of the bathroom.
"Come on, Betty, I'm sure it's not that bad!", Kai tried to motivate her to come out.
"I look like trash!", she complained.
"Betty, either you come out now or I'll come in and take you out.", he warned her.
"Ugh fine!", she said and opened the door.

She had an angel costume on for the costume party tonight and Kai was going as a psycho killer.

"What are you even talking about you look lovely. Like an angel, literally", he made a joke.
"Really funny. I don't know, it looks bad. Maybe I should change into-"
"NO! You changed your outfit 5 times already. This stays. Now come on, we need to be there before Mel and Klaus! Now come on!!", he said and rushed out with her.

"Chill your tits, dude. I'm gonna trip ober something!!", Betty said and tried not to trip because they went to the bar from a dark way where you could barely see where you were going.

"Yeah, yeah. Don't worry, you won't trip. Now come on!!", he said and they were finally at the bar.

Klaus and Mel were finally at the bar, too. Klaus was as himself because he didn't feel like really dressing up and Mel was dressed as a devil.

They were looking through the croud but were suprised when they saw Betty and Kai.

They were drinking and laughing. Then Kai asked her to dance and she obviously said yes.

Mel and Klaus didn't like what they saw. They were having fun without them and more importantly they didn't even look like they missed them.

"What are they doing here?", Mel said despised.
"I don't know. Lets find out.", he said and walked with Mel towards them.

"If that aren't the two most annoying persons I know. You don't want to leave us alone, do you?", Mel said.
"Not everything has to do with you. We were just here to have fun.", Betty told her with a smile.
"And you came from New Orleans to New York to have fun?", Klaus asked them suspicious.
"Marcel gets on our nerves. We needed a time out.", Kai explained.
"Now if you excuse us, we want to dance.", Betty said politely and Kai and her went to the dance floor.

"Do you believe them?", Mel asked.
"I don't know, Betty is a pretty good actress and they made a spell so that we can't hear their heartbeats.", Klaus answered while looking at them both dance.

"I think we're doing pretty good.", Kai told her and chuckled.
"Yesss, we are so good!! #teambadass !!!", Betty said and they high-fived and laughed.

"Is it just me or is it getting hot in here?", Kai joked.
"No, it's me, duh.", Betty said.
"No, you are not hot! You are too sweet to be hot!", Kai said.
"UMM EXCUSE YOU. I'M HOTTER THAN TEA BISH!", she told him and laughed.

"I agree on that. You are pretty hot", a random dude agreed to what Betty said and gave her a wink.
"See! Even that dude agrees with me!", Betty said.
"I think he's flirting with you, Betty.", he told her and she just understood that he was flirting with her.
"You little wanker! Aren't you a cute one.", she said and hit him on the arm.

He laughed. But his laugh faded away when Klaus sucked his blood out of him.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!", she yelled.
"I'm drinking his blood, isn't it obvious?", he asked as he whiped away the blood from his lips.
"Hmmm, is someone jealous? Here I thought you had no emotions.", she said.
"Not jealous, no. I mean did you look at him? Brown hair and green eyes? Gross.", he said.
"You know, that's actually my type. Brown hair and green eyes.", she told him.
"I'm your type, love.", he said as he came closer to her.
"No. Humanityless Klaus is not my type.", she said and came closer , too.
"Oh come on, Betty. Don't fool yourself. You think that I look pretty hot right now. So lets just skip this play hard to get part and lets go to my room.", he told her and was just a few inches from her face.
"You are disgusting. I'm not sleeping with you. Actually, I'm gonna break up with you until you get your humanity back.", she told him

He started to laugh when he heard what she said.

"You think I'm gonna turn on my humanity just because you break up with me? Sorry to disappoint you, love, but I still don't care.
"And here I am, hoping for you to get better. I'm sick of it!", Betty said and left the bar.

"Don't turn your back on me!", he told her.
"I should've never come back here! Look at you! I wanted to tell you that... doesn't matter anymore, I guess.", she said with a sad voice.
"What did you want to tell me?", he asked her calmed down.
"It doesn't matter anymore because you don't care! You left, again! You built my hopes up and then left me all alone, again! I am broken because of you, again!", she yelled at him.
"I left for you! I left so that you would be save, then and now! You think I'm doing this out of fun?!", he said.
"You didn't have to turn it off! We could've gone somewhere together! Kai, Mel, you and me!", she told him.
"It doesn't matter anymore.", he said trying to hold back the feelings, he turned off.
"Mikael was right, you are a coward. You break everything around you without taking the responsibilities. I should've listened to him.", she said disappointed.
"What did you say? Mikael was right aBOUT ME?!", he screamed and got dangerously close to her.

"HOW CAN YOU AGREE WITH HIM?!", Klaus said angry and pushed her against a wall.
"THIS ISN'T YOU KLAUS. Please. Turn it on again.", she begged him.
"I TRUSTED YOU WITH ALL MY SECRETS AND YOU DARE TO AGREE WITH MIKAEL?", He screamed angry and held her arm tight.
"Klaus! Stop! You're hurting me!", she told him.

He looked at her and saw the pain in her eyes and then turned to her arm which he was holding.

He let go of her, realizing he had just hurt the woman he loved.

"I-I'm sorry.", he said and looked to the ground.
"Hey, look at me.", she said as she held his face.
"It's okay. I'm okay but please come with me. I need you and I love you.", she told him.
"I... I love you, too, and I'm not going anywhere. Don't worry.", he said with a soft voice and kissed her.
