Chapter 19

Betty and Mel have been hiding for 2 weeks adn Klaus and Kai were still searching for them everywhere.

"Since when is Betty so sneaky? We couldn't find them with a locator spell, we've even searched the whole Mystic Falls and still nothing.", Kai said desperate.
"We are talking about Betty here. She's good at everything.", Klaus said while thinking about more placed they could've been hidden.

"We need help.", Kai said and looked at Klaus.

Klaus knew what he meant or who he meant. Caroline Forbes.

"Fine, let's go.", he said and they both went to the Salvatore house.

They knocked on the door and waited for someone, or Caroline to open the door. Nobody opened it, so they knocked again and waited a few minutes until someone opened the door.

It was Caroline. She was shocked when she saw Klaus and Kai.

"W-What are you guys doing here?", she asked.
"Oh hello Caroline . It's nice to see you, too. Oh, I'm totally fine.", Kai said and got a 'seriously'-look from Caroline.
"We need you help." Klaus answered her question.
"With what?" she asked confused.
"Can we come in?", Kai asked and looked at her.

She looked at Kai like he was crazy. After all, she still thought that he was a psycho.

"Don't worry, I'm not here to kill and neither is Klaus. We just need your help to find someone, well, actually 2 people. After we find them, we go away and you can go on with your boring life.", Kai explained before she asked more questions about why they were here.

Caroline thought about it for a while and decided to help them. They were sitting together and were quiet for a while.

"So who are you trying to find? Another doppelgänger?", she joked.
"We are trying to find our GIRLFRIENDS.", Kai told her and said 'girlfriends' especially a little louder because he knew when Betty would get her memory back and she would find out that some blonde chick would still have feelings for Klaus, she would cut her in many tiny pieces.

"I mean I knew about Kai and Melissa but Klaus? Who is your girlfriend?", Caroline asked.
"Well-"
"The love of his life. Betty. You probably don't know her but she is also Mel's best friend and she is even crazier than them.", Kai interrupted him.

"Actually, I do know her. She was here once. She was here to finish a deal she made with someone and stopped by here to check on Melissa.", Caroline explained to them.
"What kind of deal? With who?", Klaus asked.
"

Some guy named Jason. He is the alpha of a pack here but they are bad guys.", she told them.
"And do you know where their pack is?", Kai asked.
"I don't know where they exactly are, I just know that they hide somewhere in the woods. They have a secret place there but it's protected by witches and-"

Before she could finish, they were already gone. They were going to the woods, hoping they would find them.

Betty visited Mel again. She saw her chained up and
unconscious. She kind of felt a little bit of guilt inside of her and thought about if it was worth it.

Was it really worth it? They would have to always hide. They could never come back. She would have to try to keep Mel with her somehow. Maybe Mel would even start hating her.

Betty was scared that she would be left alone. She always had that fear after her father left her mother, her and her siblings. Her mother was miserable after he left and didn't really care about anything. Betty had to look out for her siblings, she was their sister and their mother in some kind of way. She was on her own. Then she became the original banshee because of her mother and Esther.

Her mother and Esther were friends and when Esther made her children and her husband turn into vampires, she needed some kind of way to sort things out in nature, so they decided to make a creature that is strong enough to kill them but not without the price. That creature had power just by her voice. A power that could destroy everything but they had to stable things. Much power means a lot of suffering. The Original Banshee may have a lot of power but she predicts, sees, hears and feels death.

Esther told Betty's mother about the idea and she just gave Betty to her to try it out, not caring if she would get hurt or die.

At first Betty couldn't handle all those deaths that were happening and locked herself in her room for 3 weeks. After a few months she was used to the deaths that were happening. She just felt dead inside.

Her mother didn't tell her kids about how she was planning to kill them. She introduced Betty to her children.

Esther's plan was that Betty would get their trust and then kill them but her plan didn't exactly work.

Betty became best friends with Mel and fell in love with Klaus. Betty told Esther that she couldn't kill them.

As time passed by Betty thought Esther gave up her plan and enjoyed her time with the Mikaelson's then she got pregnant, lost the child and was left alone.

She didn't want to be left alone again. She was just going to break Mel's chains when Jason walked in.

"What are you doing?!", he said angrily.
"Don't you see it? I'm getting her out of this toture!", she answered and was gonna start breaking her free but Jason pushed her against the wall.

"You are not doing anything.", he said.
"What are you gonna do about it? Fight me? Boo hoo bitch!", she said and kicked him in the balls.
"You bitch!", she said in pain.
"Thanks, sweetie.", she said and turned back to Mel.

Jason got up and sped over to her. He took some wood stake and hit her head with it.

"Ouch!", Betty said as she held her head. When she looked down at her hand she saw blood.
"A deal is a deal.", he said.
"Too bad for you, I'm breaking the deal. Now if you don't want me to break anything else, you better go away.", she told him.
"Hah! I want to see that. Try to break something!", he provoked her.
"You wanted it.", she said and broke his arm.
"Is that all you got?", he laughed.
"No, I've got plenty more but you are not worth my time.", she said and broke Mel's chains. She was still unconscious.
"You are not taking her anywhere!", he yelled at her.
"Watch me.", she said smirking.

When he tried to attack her again she screamed. Her scream affected him so badly that half of his head fell off.

Betty then tried to wake Mel up as she split some water over her but still nothing. Then she slapped her once slightly in her face and she woke up.

"WhAt ThE dUcK?!"
