Chapter 13

Betty and Kai woke up and started remembering that they were kidnapped.

"Bloody hell!", Betty said as she wanted to move but then realized that her hands were in chains and she was hanging from them.

Kai was trapped in a box-ish thing that was surrounded by glass. He tried to use his powers to break through but then knew that there was no way out. His magic wouldn't work.

"Are you okay?", he asked Betty when he saw her hanging and barely touching the ground.
"Yeah, it's alright.", she said trying to seem like she was okay.
"You don't habe to lie to me, Betty. We are the ultimate BROTP, remember?", he laughed.
"Yes, of course!", she chuckled.

"I'm sorry about your baby", she said and looked at him.
"It's alright. I mean, it's not but it is. You know what I mean?", he said
"Yeah", she answered.
"You know it hurts. I really wanted to have this child but Mel didn't feel ready anyways so maybe it was for the better...", he opened up.
"Maybe... I mean you guys could always make a new one, it's knot that hard.", she said laughing and gave him a smirk.
"Don't ever smirk like that again. EVER. It looks creepy!", he laughed.
"I'm trying to find my perfect evil smirk.", she said.
"For what?", he asked.

"You know, if som chick decides on going all over my boyfriend and when I need to torture her I need to have this perfect evil psychotic but sill pretty smirk. I already have an evil laughter, you wanna hear it?", she explained.
"Nooo, pleasee don't!", he said.
"I'll show it to you anyways.", she told him.
"Why do you even ask me if you'll do it anyways? You always do that!", he complained.
"Well beca-"

"Oh could you two shut up already!", Mikael interrupted her.

Kai looked a little confused and didn't exactly know who it was but when he looked at Betty, he saw her shocked.

"Mikael?", she made sure if it was really him, even though she knew it was him.
"Yes, my dear. Haven't seen you in a long time. I am so disappointed with you! I thought you knew better than being with Klaus. Hasn't the past already shown you what pathetic coward he was?", he said.

Betty rolled her eyes while Kai slowly started to understand what was going on.

"M-Mikael as in Mel's father?", he asked.
"Ugh, please don't say that! Melissa is as much of a bastard as Klaus is!", he said disgusted.

"And you are Melissa's boyfriend? Heard your child just died. It's for the better. That child would've been an-"
"No you stop right there Mikael! I don't care if you are family but you are not allowed to speak like that of Melissa or our child!", he shouted angrily at him.
"And who are you to tell me, BOY? A basic witch from an unknown coven? An abnondimation, just like your girlfriend? That's right, I know everything about you, little witch.", he provoked him.

"Mikael stop! Why did you even kidnap us? You have accomplished what you wanted to do! The child is dead! Are you happy to take a life that couldn't even be in this world?", she told him.
"Not quiet. Our mission was to kill the Original Vampires. Since you two are their most loved ones, they will come for you and then they'll be dead.", he told them his plans.

"Did Klaus tell you about his other flings over the years? There was a blonde in Mystic Falls. He promised her to wait an eternity for her. What was her name again... Cassendra? Carol? Ahh it was Caroline!", he teased her.
"Don't listen to him, he is just trying to play with you.", Kai said to her.
"No, I'm not. He was quiet excited to go back to Mystic Falls when he heard about his mother being there .", he provoked her even more.
"You are lying!", she said angrily.
"You can ask him yourself when he'll bow down for me. You deserve better than him, Betty.
You just need to realize your full potential.", he told her.

Kai looked confused and looked at her. He could see that she was hurt but didn't want to show it.

"I wonder how long it will take for them to find this place.", he broke the silence.

The Mikaelson siblings were all upstairs with the witch Davina. She was doing a locator spell with some personal items and found them after breaking the block that was set to cover their place.

"Here it is.", Davina said and pointed at the place.
"Should we tell Klaus?", Kol asked.
"No, let's go without him. He's too angry and he will killl too many people.", Mel said.

They all agreed with Mel. Now Rebekah, Kol and Mel were on their way to the place where they held Kai and Betty captive.
When they finally arrived at the secret place, some of Esther's minions attacked them but they obviously killed them right away because they were weak against 3 originals.
At the entrance they were attacked again but won, again.

"Something is wrong. This is too easy!", Mel told them.
"Maybe we are just lucky.", Kol said.
"I don't think so...", Mel answered.
"I'll stay here and watch if anybody else attacks. You two go in there, kick their asses and save Betty and Kai.", Rebekah motivated them.

Kol and Mel nodded and went in through the door.
Betty was hanging from chains upside down and bleeding while Kai's oxygen was getting lower and lower.

"Melissa! Kol! I'm so happy you are here to join me!", he said making a dramatic evil entrance.
"We'll see if your face will keep that happy smile when I'm finished with you!", Mel said angrily.
"Where is Niklaus? I expected him to be here, too, for the family reunion.", he said.
"We already had one without you and mother. It was good but then Mel and Betty started to turn human!", Kol answered him.
"If I was you I would stop talking and decide to to save.
Save one and the other dies.", he told them and Mel and Kol were looking at each other, not knowing what to do.
