Chapter 20

"Good you're awake." Betty said.

"Yeah, what do you want? a kidney, ny spleen?" Mel replied ironically, expecting that Betty wanted something from her for that stupid deal.

"We have to leave. I'll get you out of here."

"Is this a hallucination?" Mel said looking at the multiple Bettys in front of her.

"No it's not, I'm sorry for all this but we gotta get out of here." Betty said as she helped Mel stand up and helped her walk. They walked out of the room where Mel was chained up in and went through the hallways.

"Where do you think you're going?" Gregor said . The girls kept walking as fast as possible. Suddenly Gregor was in front of them. "You're not leaving yet." he said as he gave both headaches. Mel of course couldnt do something since she was already too weak so she just fell on her knees but Betty fought the pain and fought Gregor back. Then Gregor whistled, making a few hybrids appear. The girls were surrounded by them. They attacked them both, mostly Betty. and Betty being Betty she was too badass to give up. She bit the shit out of modt of them but more and more were appearing. It was easy when they weren't using their hybrid powers. But then they started acting and fighting like hybrids, they turned and put their hybrid face on. All this put Mel through pain because they were using her to turn so she screamed in pain as she cried out. The more hybrids were turned the more pain Mel felt.

"Just give up." Gregor said smirking.

"I gave up on giving up." Betty replied, quoting Elijah. She ripped two hybrids' hearts simultaneously. She then heard a scream, she turned to see Mel. Each one of her bones had broken. She was turning into a wolf.

She turned and howled. She roared at the hybrids and the witch as her eyes flashed yellow. She was done being weak, she pushed all the tiredness away and helped Betty to kick someone ass. Betty kicked the asses of half of them and Mel (as a wolf) took care of the other half.

Betty was busy fighting back until she heard wolf's scream, a wolf's cry. She turned to see one of the hybrids harming her with a sword. Betty ran to her forgetting about the hybrids. "Hey it's okay." she said as she saw sadness into the wolf's eyes. The moment they tried to hurt Betty they were stopped. a few of their hearts dropped down. Their heart were ripped out. All the other ones had been fall into the ground, some still alive but others have died from pain.

"Klaus?" Betty turned to face the male Original Hybrid. Kai appeared behind him.

Kai looked at Betty and then at the wolf. He seemed confused for half a second. The monent he understood it was Mel he ran to her. She tried to stand up, her legs too weak to move, barely moving. "I'm here," he said as he wrapped his arms around the wolf. "I'm here, you're safe, I'm here." he kissed the wolf's head and looked into her eyes full of pain and sadness.

Betty looked at them before she turned to Klaus. "How?"

"If you wanna find something really bad you'll find a way to discover what you need." He said faintly smiling. Betty faintly smiled back. She looked at him before she suddenly hugged him. Klaus was shocked but he then hugged back. Betty drowned from his smell. She missed the way he smelt.

"I missed you." Betty said hardly being able to be heard but Klaus heard her any way.

"I missed you too, love." he said. they pulled away, Klaus cupped her face and kissed her forehead.

Kai noticed the wound from the sword Mel had on her. He touched near the wound where her skin was harmed. Wolf-Mel cried as he touched the wound. "Shhh, dont worry." He then turned to Klaus and Betty. "Sorry to interrupt but we need help." He said pointing at the hurt wolf with his head .

"Yeah," Klaus said quietly as he stared at his twin sister. Betty nodded as she sighed. Klaus walked over to his sister and picked her up and put her over his shoulders. She cried as he moved her. "Everything is fine," Klaus said softly to her trying to comfort her.

They walked out of there and moved to the car. Klaus was driving and Betty was on the front seat next to him. He had placed Mel on the back seats laying. Kai was sitting with her. Her face on his legs. Her eyes looking up at him as he carassed her head.

They had soon arrived at home. The Other three Originals jumped off when they heard the door open. Betty walked in her face full of guilt. Klaus was carrying Melissa and Kai wouldn't take his eyes off her.

Rebekah, Kol and Elijah gave a 'is everything okay' look and Kai and Klaus just nodded as Betty looked down. Klaus dropped Mel onto the floor as she made a wolfie 'ouch' sound . She tried and walked to the couch and sat onto it. Looking around everyone else in the room as they talked. Kai didnt participate in the conversation. His eyes only on his girlfriend. Klaus said the whole story to his other three siblings. When he finished they just nodded staying silent.

Slowly Betty and Klaus went to their room and so did Elijah and Rebekah. Kai had went over to Mel once again. Kol stood up from his arm chair. He stepped away a bit.

"Goodnight." Kai told him thinking he was going to sleep. But Kol didn't he walked back in once again and sat next to Kai, looking at his sister who was still in her wolf form. She had fallen asleep, Kol looked at Kai who was fondling her back.

"What are you gonna do about the spell?" Kol asked Kai.

"Anything exceot giving up, if things dont get better we will ask Davina for help." Kai said quietly in order to not wake up Mel.

"We'll be here for both of you." Kol said putting a hand over Kai's shoulder. Kai nodded in thanks. "Goodnight princess" Kol said as he kissed his sister's head . He then goodnight-ed Kai and Kai goodnight-ed Kol. He went upstairs and Kai fell asleep next to Mel.
