"You're human. Okay, sure." Mel said ironically. "I have to admit that I almost bite it, that was super duper close."

"I am not lying! Why would I lie about this?" Betty replied.

"Oh come on. You all want the 'real' me back but guess what, I'm not getting fooled that easily. Your plan has gone wrong and why? Because you do not have a heartbeat. Try better next time." Melissa said as she neared the Original Banshee and then smirked. "That day, when I said to Mikael that I always win, I meant it. Every single word of it."

Betty sighed as she rolled her eyes. "What if I really was human? Wouldn't you care? Wouldn't you care that I could die any moment?"

"You're with Klaus Mikaelson, I'd be more sure that whoever comes one meter near you would die, not you."

"You care about nothing?"

"Exactly."

"So let me guess, you do not care that Kai was planning on proposing to you either, right?"

"He was gonna propose to me." Melissa repeated and bite her lips so she wouldn't laugh.

"What's so funny?"

"Malachai Parker would propose to me as Melissa Mikaelson?"

"Yeah! Of course! Why do you even ask? You are the love of his life."

"Kai Parker was a little boy who just wanted his family to love him, they didn't. He didn't know what love was and then we met. And all these years I knew that his biggest fear is and always has been that will get left alone once again. But I kept turning it off, I kept leaving. He had been holding on to me, being his only hope. Don't you think that he deserves a lot more than the crap I've put him through?"

"Klaus had left me and here we are after centuries, reunited and together. If we were able to get together and make it work you two can, too."

"I don't need your sympathy, Betty." And with that Mel had pinned Betty against the wall, holding her by throat.

"That's enough!" Klaus said who had been outside the door along with Kai and Kol. He pushed Mel off Betty and she fell onto the ground. She stood up using her vampire speed.

"And for once Betty I thought you were brave enough to deal me by yourself. But I guess you can go nowhere without your army, can't you?" She said as smirked and sighed. "What are you all doing here anyway? There's no weapon to kill me, I've got all the white oak stakes hidden."

"We can take you down." Kol said.

"You can take me down? Much of a confidence, if you think I was the only to be able to fight and win Mikael and may I remind you: Mikael was unbeatable."

"We are four, you are one." Betty said. "It's not late to back off."

"Back off? I'm the Queen of New Orleans, I don't back off and most important of all I don't loose."

"Well I guess time to change that." Kai said as he twisted his hand making Mel fall onto her knees.

She slowly stood up, trying to control the pain. "Is that your best shot?"
