New Beginnings

Chapter 27

Caroline's POV.
"Wake up Emily!" I yelled at my sleeping cousin.

"Five more minutes." Emily groaned turning away from the light.

"You said that ten minutes ago. This is our first day of wedding preparations! We have to be at the mikealson in twenty minutes." I point out.

"Fine. Fine. I'm up." Emily says getting up.

I exit the room and see my two beautiful children sitting at the dinning room table. 

I pick up there bowls and throw it in the sink.

"Are you guys ready to go?" I ask them.

They both nodded and shouted in excitement. They were so thrilled when I said they would be the flower girls.

"Really? You didn't say we had to dress nice." Emily said as soon as she saw the girls and I wearing dresses.

She was wearing a muscle shirt with leggings and her tennis shoes.

"It's fine. We have to go we are running late!" I said herding everyone to the door.

We arrived to our destination only ten minutes late. None of the mikealsons seemed to mind anyways.

I walked over to my handsome fiancé and kissed him on the cheek.

"Good morning." I said.

"Oh yes. Quite a good morning." He whispered back.

I smiled and laid my head on his shoulders as he made breakfast.

"Mommy, can we play outside?" Lizzie asked.

"Yes, just be careful." I say looking down at her.

The girls start running outside. I smile at how close they are. They care so much about each other.

Emily's POV.
"Nice outfit Em." Rebekah jokes walking over to me.

"I didn't know we were supposed to look nice." I laugh.

"I could tell." Rebekah says examining my outfit.

"I don't know you look pretty hot to me." Kol says walking from behind me.

"Shut up Kol." I say pushing him toward Rebekah.

"I don't want him either." Rebekah says seriously.

Rebekah and I laugh while Kol glares at us.

"I'm just kidding don't get so offended." I say putting my hand on his shoulder.

"I knew that." Kol said brushing it off.

"Hello Emily." Elijah says from beside me.

"Hey." I awkwardly say.

Since we got back together or did we even break up? Whatever. Since Caroline's announcement we haven't spoke. That was almost two weeks ago.

"How are you?" Elijah asks.

"Fine." I answer plainly.
